We traded for Lo Duca when both were on the market I believe. Ironic, i think we traded a guy named gaby hernandez for lo duca. The kid must've really sucked if we traded him with that last name.

Back to the topic of dropped passes a couple of pages back... theres just one play that for some reason has been stuck in my mind all off-season. It was against Jacksonville. Eli probably threw one of the best passes I'd ever seen out of any QB I've watched, right in stride in Plax's hands. But randomly, maybe he lost it in the lights idk, Plax tries to tip it to himself. He was behind the secondary and it would've been a TD. We would've been up 17-13 if he caught it I think. Instead, he made what appeared to be a circus catch and the play was overturned. It never should have gone to tipping, it was right in his hands. It seems that whenever Eli makes that great long pass, either Carter was floundering for it or Plax was trying to make a show offy play. Sometimes it's great, but others its useless. Here's to hoping a guy who has the capability to get by the secondary, ala Steve Smith, can haul in those passes and go all the way.

Jacobs came out of college with the rep of being surehanded. The forced fumble by Dawkins was an amazing play by Dawkins and part carelessness by Jacobs going for the plow. Jacobs will eventually mature to the point where he knows to protect the ball when trying to run over one of the best safeties in the game. The Roy Williams fumble in his rookie year was a silly mistake and a good play.

We'll see him on the somerset patriots next year.

I second that We oughta put Delgado on the DL, give him some time off until the all star break, and give that kid Mike Karp a chance. Best case is his stock goes up and we can trade him like we did with Jacobs. And Schoenweis should be relegated to Burgos duties. 10-1 games.
