To be honest, I think the list goes. 1. Pats 2. Colts 3. Steelers 4. NFC's best team (Cowboys... Packers) 5-20. teams in the same boat. There are a lot of teams that underachieve with a lot of talent. There are some teams that overachieve with little talent. Every team is beatable, and every game is winnable. What allows teams to obtain that 11-5 record is keeping dumb mistakes at a minimum, whether it be a penalty or stupid fumbles/INTs. There are going to be those mistakes, but you can't let them happen a lot. I don't think there is any concencus top 10 list following #5. Parity has created a lot of teams on the same level.

Making a dumb penalty is just as bad as a turnover in some cases. There were probably a million times last year where we were driving and had momentum and then were called for a holding penalty to make it second and 20 and killing the drive. Think, what if there was a holding on madison hedgecock's 6 yard catch? It would have been 1st and 20 by Plaxico's play, and who knows what wouldve happened from there. Keeping dumb penalties at a minimum are huge. 13-10 is the combined record, a little bit better then 6-19 for you guys.

Call me crazy, but I don't think the Cards have been playing all that consistently on all 3 phases of the game. Good team, but we are better. Where are we ranked in penalties right now? IMO, that's a huge reason why we've won 3 straight. We've stayed in games and haven't killed ourselves with dumb penalties. Last year we stay in games, make a dumb penalty, and lose by a little.

Plax has been amazing this year, but I'd really like to see him start practicing. Otherwise, Eli will constantly be getting off to slow starts due to not being on the same page as him. If that means giving him the Phins game off and the bye week, then so be it. When does S. Smith come back?

Do you realize that Mix is one year removed from spending an entire season on PS and is still incredibly raw? There's obviously a reason the Giants felt the need to cut him, it was because he would be no help to the team this year. I'm sure they were happy to take him back on PS. Even if Plax godforbid missed a game who knows how Mix would perform. I know he had 3 catches against the Packers but I watched him towards the end of the game and he was getting pressed at the line, and couldn't get off. On Eli's dumb INT to that DE, he barely got off the line and when he did, he didn't even complete his route. Trust me, if Plax misses a game or two, Mix doesn't have that big an impact. Especially if Smith is back by then.

He hurt his knee, they said it on PTI before the year started. God I hate Jets fans. They were so annoying yesterday. So satisfying seeing them walk out pissed off. They got very quiet after Plax scored that TD. On the third and 11 play where Brad Smith was quarterback and they ran a draw, I said to my Dad that was the dumbest play I ever saw. So the Jets fan behind me goes, "Typical stupid Giants fan, he obviously doesn't know they are playing for field position." Yeah, at the 20 yard line up by 10 with 20 minutes of football time left, field position was the basis for that play

Down by 10 at halftime, then again midway through the third. They could have had this game won during several parts of the second half, but we didn't fold and took it from them. They were the ones with the double digit lead, not us.

Guys, we're not that much better then the other teams that aren't the Patriots, Colts, and maybe even Cowboys (obviously theyre better then us too). Every team is in the same boat IMO. The teams that can steal wins like we did today will go the farthest. As far as I'm concerned, we've stolen two games this year. How many games did we steal last year? 1? These wins are just as satisfying as blowouts. Being at the game and watching those Jets fans leave pissed off was an awesome feeling. I hate those people.

Was it me, or did it look like Carmona was eating the bugs in the top of the 9th inning? I have a feeling he's dealt with bugs before in Puerto Rico. Same with Perez. The advantage of having pitchers from poor spanish countries.

Good. Cutting him now was the perfect time. No team is going to sign a project like him mid way through the year, when he is useless on special teams and can't help out the team. The Giants knew what they were doing, and we've had a little trouble with kick return coverage so far. Maybe this Hixon guy can help.

Keep in mind, people say that Mix has a plaxico type look but had one of the lowest vertical leaps displayed at the combine in his year and he needs to gain some weight IMO. btw, there is a chance he clears waivers and we get him on our PS.
