How does that defeat my argument? Later on in the season is when his arm would get tired and that could explain the fact he never has good games in December. In Jacksonville last year he played in warm weather in week 11 but that did not to do anything to help. Tennessee wasn't that cold either. Dallas was below 50, and he had one of his strongest showings of the year. You may be right, and if the Giants believe what you do, he should be let go as soon as we can. No way our QB should have such a huge drop off in play when it is a little below 50.

I sit directly in the sun, and I took off every layer except my t-shirt and jersey. It definitely felt above 50, and it looked sunny on the field too. Ask anyone that sat in the 300s in the sunlight they'll agree with me. It was warm against the 9ers and he played average against a piss poor secondary. It was below 50 last year against Dallas and he played a very good game. I don't think weather has anything to do with it. If his play is being brought down by 50 degrees and sunny with no wind he shouldn't even be in the NFL. The weather is warm when his arm is fresh, the weather gets chillier when his arm gets tired and teams figure the Giants offense out.

Tell me guys does this sound familiar? 1st and 10... stretch right to Droughns, tackled after a gain of two. FIRST DOWN RUNS KILLED US!! Just like the Panthers game in 2005! We ran a first down run five straight times for a total of six yards. That was what did us in. Set up second and nine, all of a sudden that 32nd ranked pass defense becomes the 16th ranked pass defense when they know what's coming. Maybe even better. Our offense has been too conventional for too long, it's been a crucial reason to Eli's struggles down the stretch. There's no consistent balance with this team, something to keep the defense on their heels. Terrible.

Wright and Lorenzen suck, I agree. We should sign an under the radar UFA and work with him if we really feel that badly about Eli. I doubt that happens though.

The weather had nothing to do with it today. In the sun, it felt like 55-60 with no wind. Saints game last year it was pretty nice too. I think it's just that it happens to get cold when his arm gets tired and teams get film on him. It wasn't even that cold in December last year. Nor was it in December in 2005. It's just that our guy is inconsistent as anything and needs support from his players in order to produce.

Another fascinating tidbit: The road team has taken five straight in this series. So now we have streaks of this sort with the Lions, Vikings, and Atlanta.

Because he's black, is the same height, and reeled in a fade pass right? Honestly, what could make you think he's as talented as Plax. In the scouting combine, he had the worst vertical leap of any player entering the draft. His body also doesn't fit his leight. He looks too lean IMO.

They're extremely overrated, probably most in the league. Lose to Cardinals... two weeks later talked as a team that could easily be in the Colts and Patriots league. Lose to Denver... The hype stops for a little while, then they squeak by the Browns at home and Merill Hoge says they are the best team in the NFL including the patriots! Lose to Jets... After they spank the Phins on MNF they'll be talked among the elite again. The Cowboys and Packers are both legitimately better than the Steelers. They can't play on the road.

I think Strahan got away with one or two of those too. The refs gave a lot of leighway on that, but there was one time where the DT was in the backfield before the play started. That one should've been called.

We run too many first down passes in the first half. It was balanced out a little more in the second.

With Plax and Jacobs out, we need every player possible to step up.
