  1. If the Raiders thought Nande was so good they would've signed him to a 7 year 70 million dollar deal and kept their second rounder. They'll have no choice but at least shop him at this point. Hell, maybe we'll give them Danny Ware. If there's one thing you have to take into consideration, it's that with the current system in place, the salary cap may expire in 2010. Davis would have no problem giving them the money if the league permits it. Then all of a sudden, these moves don't look so stupid. Think about it though. They have a sick defensive backfield, and a top pass rushing end in Burgess. Morrison is their MLB, and I think he's a stud. Their defense has a chance to very good this year.
  2. And a week later, we threw his ass around.
  3. I really have a tough time believing this. Ware will probably be used as a chip to move up on the first day. We have three talented backs that are all young already.
  4. I don't see how Prior is going to make an impact. Seriously, how many injuries has he had the last few years? He's nothing but a name at this point. Nothing else to talk about in spring training for SD, so the resurrection of Prior gets brought up. Admiral, you really think he can pitch well for three months, much less 6?
  5. I don't think we're done just yet. If the Raiders really get Hall, then don't be surprised for them to really shop Asomagua. Trufant is available too. This is far from over.
  6. Someone said we offered a first, but the Falcons demanded a first and RB Danny Ware, so we refused to make the trade
  7. Maybe Al is preparing for the no salary cap era.
  8. I don't get the Raiders. Michael Huff: 6 years 43 million Hall: 6 years 57 million (assuming he gets asante numbers) Gibril: 6 years 39 Asomughua: They're negotiating with him, right now he's a franchise player. Hall needs to re-consider this for himself. He knows the Giants would make that same deal if he would take less money. He's in the prime of his career, and can either accept watching his career go down the drain in a shithole, or go on a winning squad for some less million, which he could possibly make up through incentives and bonuses.
  9. You were only one round off.
  10. The Raiders are really digging through our team.
  11. I still hope he never gets that chance.
  12. If it weren't for Rodney Harrison, Green would have been a Ram for life.
  13. Maybe he can give Eli one of his big white gloves.
  14. I want the piece of grass that Toomer stepped on during his GW TD catch against Denver. And I want a certificatate of authenticity.
  15. I don't think Pac-Man knows that the Steelers are red either.
  16. No one else out there comes close to fitting the bill either. I think it's a must we trade for him. When Alou's not out, Delgado will. So X-Man will play first during that time. Trade Mike Carp and another prospect or two for him. Give 'em Fernando!
  17. I think it's Arizona. Not Buffalo, Parrish is one of the best in the game.
  18. Pac-Man was on the radio a few days ago and he said that he is close to signing with a team that "Has red on their uniforms and is in need of a PR." That includes us right?
  19. R.W.'s more versatile then Sam. Sam is better than RW at CB but RW can play safety, and is an adequate PR.
  20. Hopefully we'll see him in May. I'm really not excited for the season to start.
  21. I picked up on the same thing. After the Bills game Kawika was becoming one of my favorite players. I think Wilkinson can hold the fort but for the money Kawika got I think we could've made some concessions and overpaid.
