  1. Jets probably aren't too interested in drafting an RB whose name isn't Reggie Bush. With all of the talent available this off-season at RB, which btw has recently been added to by the cuts of Mike Anderson and Stephen Davis, the Jets appear to be looking to draft elsewhere. Speaking of Anderson, I think if Edge does leave, he'd be a decent fit for you guys.
  2. They most likely want to trade Abraham but they shouldn't do this trade for Leinart. They should get Bush out of it.
  3. It appears that safeties make a more immediate impact as rookies then corners. Roy Wiliams, Sean Taylor, Troy Palamalu, even Gibril Wilson all made immediate impacts as rookies. Now, there aren't many CBs taken at #25 that probably would be an immediate impact. So with the exception of Cromartie who I believe you can't pass up on when you are the #25 slot, we should look at safety, not CB.
  4. He said it himself that he sucks completely every year at spring training. So I'm not worried.
  5. Problem is, Lo Duca may be a double team machine with that speed of his and we know once Willie puts him there, he is staying with his loyalty philosophy.
  6. Which we won and the Giants beat the Rams 44-24? We want better answers!
  7. Was thinking the same thing. If we win the division this year, we have earned it.
  8. We'd have to trade down pretty far in order to get another second round pick for it. That may be too far to land Moss. And I looked it up, there appears to be no team with two second rounders but I guess if they are desperate enough like the Ravens were for Kyle Boller and the Bills were for JP Losman, we may get a future 1st rounder out of it. If not that, possibly a high second.
  9. Not at CB they didn't, at safety. If Gibril can step up some more this year, it could make up for lack of great playmaking skills out of the CBs. EA's smarter then that just to make some signings only to benefit him for this year and maybe a year or two after that. I'm sure he desperately wants to go out winning the Lombardi but EA appears to be the guy not to put the future at risk for this season.
  10. Having mixed feelings regarding this. Obviously, it's great that the Skins are screwed but this needs to get done. Upshaw needs to forget about all this, they get their money and a raise of cap, what more do you want? If this new CBA doesn't happen at all, that's a nice way to fuck up Wellington Mara's memory.
  11. Thing is, we have multiple issues to fix up. We don't need to spend all of our money every off-season. There are plenty of guys that would be decent signings that would come cheaper then Law would. We don't need the big playmaker in the secondary to make our team a super bowl winner. The Steelers had pretty much okay corners. Another thing you should take into effect is pass rush. We get an immense amount of pressure on the QB which could really help out okay guys that would produce much better here then in their original place and would maybe produce less then Law, but would come much cheaper. We don't need the playmakers that much.
  12. As of now, I want to draft him but not in the first round. However, if we are really intrigued with him but feel #25 is too high, we should trade down somewhat, possibly get some more picks, and then get Moss. That's very good news btw, thanks for the update.
  13. Just because I disagree with what the Yankees do or argue against players doesn't necessarily mean I'm a troll here.
  14. Can you specify where and how I do troll please?
  15. I knew renraw would be on this as soon as possible :worshippy:
  16. Nothing beats real football though. I tune in there from time to time but it's really a joke. I'd get the same amount of satisfaction watching my friends play for free. The cheerleaders would be the only good part about going.
  17. If they can't afford Edge, they can't afford Shaun either. Jamal is someone the Colts if they are smart will stay away from. Maybe they'll try and make a move in the draft to possibly get Lendale White or other solid backs. With that WR core, o-line and QB, you don't need the best RB in football. I 100% believe they should bring Edge back but obviously something must be wrong if they aren't winning anything with him there. Not saying it's his fault but maybe that money spent on him would be better spent on a defensive playmaker and then they can draft a RB high.
  18. Plax didn't do anything to make me feel better about this situation. He came up very small when we needed him the most.
  19. We need to find guys that we shouldn't have to overpay for that drastically. I think there are better players out there then Law that can come cheaper. All I believe Law has right now is that name, which is bound to get him millions. Even if we do have the money, that doesn't neccessarily mean that we have to use it and force it on someone that would be overpaid.
  20. Odds are you'd fix RB elsewhere but if it turns out you do sign no one else, then you are stuck with Dominic Rhodes, who actually is a former 1000 yard rusher when James was down for that year or two.
  21. I've been saying since we have known that the Texans had the #1 overall pick that they should trade down. Davis is an excellent back, perhaps their best player. And their o-line is undescribable, just... awful. They should trade down a few slots, get some day 1 picks, draft Ferguson and they should be on their way to an improved season from there.
