  1. His 7-3 record with a 2.85 ERA with the Yankees full of quality starts says so.
  2. It pretty much can go either way. The only things that we don't know are Johjima, Small, and Beltre. Other then that, the players on his team have done stuff in the past.
  3. The Dolphins shocked me this year going 9-7. And I'm sure they shocked their own fans. Even in that division, it was looking terrible for them. Gus Frerotte was their QB and their o-line absolutely sucked with a rookie coach. They wound up winning six down the stretch to gain some momentum heading for the 2006 season. When you come off a 4-12 season, expecting 9-7 no matter which team it is would be too much of an expectation.
  4. It's not that bad. I wouldn't call it first place caliber but it is okay. Kohjima can do some nice things for him if he makes the proper transition into the majors from Japan. Kent has always been a decent player, can't see why he'd get bad all of a sudden now. Iguchi's a solid player, will get him some points. Glaus in that revamped lineup with the Blue Jays will probably do some good things, so that's a nice pick for third basemen. Pheralta's got excellent potential at SS and was great for me last year after I picked him up. His OFs also have potential. He's going to get some very nice numbers out of Crawford and Bay is one of the up and coming stars in the league despite being with the Pirates. And Lee as we all know is an excellent power hitter and should only do better this season with guys like Rickie Weeks, Prince Fielder, etc batting around him. Oh yeah, if Beltre does with the Mariners like he did with the Dodgers two years ago, that's an excellent pick. His pitchers aren't pathetic. They actually have talent. Burnett has yet to prove something but maybe he'll find himself in Toronto. Pettite was unbelievable down the stretch for the Astros and I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up right where he started. Francisco's a very good reliever. Jorge Sosa went 13-3 last year for the Braves so that was a steal for this team. Zach Duke is one of the up and coming star pitchers in the league. He's a lefty and went like 6-0 in his first six games before he got injured. He's going to be very good. Chacon will probably do just as good this year as he did last year and with the Yanks new lineup, that should be enough. Small confused me a bit because he could've gotten him on waivers. And despite pitching in a hitter's ballpark, Eaton is still a very good pitcher and should get some wins behind that excellent hitting staff. So when I look at that team, I don't see where you get pathetic or terrible from.
  5. It's funny to see what excuse they come up with in their response. I don't really mind them too much anymore... depending on what mood I am in.
  6. Exactly. And we still have two guys that can do okay behind Joseph and Robbins in Allen and Duckett. Both of those guys have potential.
  7. Well, the Jets were at full health at that point in the season and the Dolphins were without Ricky and hadn't really gotten anything going. That Bronco game was most likely a fluke. Jets even beat the Bucs. Personally, I don't think the Bucs are that good but they still beat a division winner.
  8. What are you guys going to do with Melky anyway?
  9. I'll take that out of my first basemen any time. Especially where I got him, around the seventh round I believe.
  10. If it makes you feel better, Tiki said it himself that if Ronde gets cut, his most likely place that he would sign with would be with the Giants. We expected to only sign McKenzie and Pierce last off-season and we got Plax. Anything can happen.
  11. I just drafted Hank Blalock for my fantasy team. What do you expect out of him?
  12. La Roi Glover. He is one of the better DTs in the game and he'd fit in great in our DT rotation, hopefully he'd play more downs then Robbins and Joseph. I would definitely pursue Glover and give him an offer.

    Meanwhile Degado can't get out.
  14. My first team, not the way I wanted to get my first draft but.. C Jose Molina 1b Jim Thome 2b Jorge Cantu SS Jhonny Peralta 3b Hank Blalock OF Manny Ramirez OF Andruw Jones OF Coco Crisp Utility Travis Hafner BN Pedro Feliz Pitching SP Buerhle SP Schilling RP Jenks RP Wickman P Duke P Vazquez P Chacin BN Seo BN Eaton BN Towers I'm not sold on Thome and I want to make a trade for a better 1b
  15. Neither move would make sense to me. Keep Diehl where he is now and keep Kareem where he is now.
  16. Don't want to get too pumped. It's still a month away

Diaz went 1/5 with a single. Didn't see the homer, was it like crushed?
  18. I haerd it was another loss today, 11-10. Any major things happen? All I know is Wright went two innings ang gave up an ER.
  19. I thoughe Eli has done a very nice job when it comes to leadership considering it's his first full season. Plax and Shockey are basically out of his power, but from what I have heard he has excellent command in the huddle.
  20. That did help. I probably will be interested in pursuing something like that later but I don't need to worry about that now. I just wanted a taste to see what really goes on in that class.
  21. Some of those pics were taken in pre-season or in 2004. I'm fine with our line now. The only problem I see is finding a long term LT after Luke leaves.
