  1. He's going to be nice for special teams and we know we'd get an average CB for the most part if one of our players at CB were to go down or just play worse and worse.

    Either way, it's still overpaying.

No way the Dolphins would trade a second round pick for Ramsey if they sign Culpepper. Seeing that Rosenfels signed with the Texans, Frerotte would most likely be the starter.
  4. Let's see if big ol' Ron Dayne takes advantage of this.
  5. Sanchez may have more potential but look at our depth at starting pitching. If godforbid Pedro and someone else were to go down this season, which may be very possible, that would be a huge issue for us.
  6. We have similar weapons if not better as the Skins at all positions such as RB and WR, a better TE, a better o-line, and a QB with much more potential who should only get better while Brunell may falter over the next season or two.
  7. I'll believe that they can win when I see it. Obviously, they've taken a big step but I've heard that they'd breakout before, nothing new really. Isn't Kurt going to start?
  8. So is that true? It's Lloyd that's really got me worried. He's very talented.
  9. Gotta love the off-season!
  10. The only real thing I could've done there is smile. But it was September at that point and the Mets did their job. They got me to football season.
  11. I laugh at my team. When Beltran was the last out for the 82857th time against the Marlins I smiled. It was just amusing to me.
  12. I see strides of improvement. The first part of your statement was infact was correct.
  13. That would remind me of a Norman Hand type signing. For short term uses only. I don't see us making that signing with two capable tackles starting and two guys with some potential in Allen and Duckett backing him up.
  14. Joseph was a very solid DT for us this season. Coming out of college, I never really expected him to be a dominant type of DT but one that can plug the middle and get a pass rush and make an impact on defense. He did that for the most part when healthy.
  15. I've heard from some various Padres fans that Nady really came on strong down the stretch even in that ballpark. Maybe he can contribute more then what we expected out of him.
  16. This reminds me of a Legree type of thing. They can keep him for that price.
  17. The only real part of his performance I would call a choke was his dry-heaving and the questionable time conservation to end the game. I thought he did an okay job.

    What did they say?
  19. Sad the Jets fan here has to put the nail right on the head. I expected more out of Giants fans Madison will get some picks for us. Not a given but I'm pretty sure of that. He won't get 10 INTs or some extreme high number like that. But I guess there is always a chance. However, I think he should improve especially if we sign Lavar with our front 7 and the pass rush they may put on the QB.
  20. I would have been shocked if the Jets were interested in Daunte anyway. Maybe the Raiders will give the Vikings another 1st rounder.
  21. Woh, how'd that happen? Some excellent management by the new guys there. Heading in the right direction.
  22. Brunell didn't look so great either. Eli was a victim of the game plan against the Panthers, I've been saying that in his defense for a long time now. Though the performance was pitiful, you have to consider the circumstances more. I was saying for the days leading up to the game that we should come out throwing on first down. You watched the game right Lockhart? We came out running, and running unsuccessfully. Why? Because Hufnagel refused to change around the gameplan more and throw on first down. When we did, Eli was 2/2 when it was a close game for something like 30 yards (which btw was in the first 3 quarters). And then when the game was too out of reach to run, they rushed 4 every time where the line sucked and left 8 men in the secondary to cover some players who they would even admit weren't trying their hardest. Eli was a victim of the gameplan when you consider it.
