  1. Too late, if you see above I just traded for Glaus but I feel this is worth it. I get the best closer in the game and the best rated OF in the game for a backup, prospect, and speedy OF where I have Reyes to make up for SB counts I lose. Maybe I'll pick up a 3b.
  2. It's nice to also have a solid guy in my rotation in Glavine, where I know I may get something like 12-7 with a 3.5 ERA or something of that sort. That's why I wasn't reluctant to give up Mulder for Glavine.
  3. It doesn't have to be with the physical attributes. He helped him with reading defenses, he helped him get through his tough times, he was basically Eli's #1 fan when he came in and accepted the fact that he replaced him. Helping a young QB goes beyond "habits." A veteran like him as classy as he is really has helped Eli whether you guys like it or not. To say Kurt had little impact on Eli is really absurd to me.
  4. He most likely wouldn't sign for a deal like that. He wants his money guaranteed.
  5. Do you mean training camp? I see you're in baseball mode already.
  6. And it's all true too. These two teams win at the wrong time. The off-season. Hopefully this year it will be no different.
  7. And to add to that as the article that exit posted a couple days ago, these guys are going to help us even further, allowing us to free up some money and sign some big names. Imagine if we had Kazmir.
  8. Not happy with Julio so far. Rick needs to work on him a bit. What a homer by Jacobs.
  9. If you asked Eli, he would say that Kurt helped him out a lot. Eli has even said that. He said that he personally thanked Kurt for everything he did to help Eli while he was benched after he was let go by us.
  10. Keyshawn would produce better numbers and that really doesn't matter. He is more of a thread and more of a precise route runner then Amani. I love you Amani, but Keyshawn is a better #2 WR then you. Keyshawn would be twice as motivated with his team dropping him for TO to beat their asses down when he plays them, and all year long to prevent Dallas from winning the division. I would like Keyshawn here.
  11. Lockhart would want Drew Brees. I can answer that one for him.
  12. Jacobs has an excellent swing but for some reason even during his great start I wasn't too fond of him. He missed pitches high and away that any lefty with that type of swing would clobber. I don't know why but I just didn't think he'd work out in NY.
  13. Obviously, the potential is there but at least right now Arizona has proven WRs.
  14. I just traded Glaus, Crawford, and Street for Vlad and Mariano Rivera.
  15. Okay, last team!! C Ramon Hernandez 1b Albert Pujols 2b Chase Utley SS Jhonny Peralta 3b Hank Blalock OF Ichiro OF Carlos Beltran OF Ken Griffey Jr. Utility Aubrey Huff BN Carlos Gullen SP Felix Hernandez SP Barry Zito RP Huston Street RP Mike Timlin P Curt Schilling P Jorge Sosa P Jeremy Bonderman BN Chris Young BN Joe Blanton BN Jon Garlan BN Gustavo Chacin
  16. And proven WRs. And Edgerrin James. It may be too late but I think Harrington would be the best fit there, especially learning under Kurt Warner, who did help Eli.
  17. Even though it's from the GMB, the stuff there sounds pretty logical. I'm looking for it right now but I can't find it. I think it's from BBI.
  18. In Coors field, you never know. I'm willing to take that chance. Enjoy that game.
  19. What the hell is the point for that? Gain a practice squad player for a proven starter that helps protect your future that can be ruined with one bad block? Insane.
  20. It may have to come down to the QB when you look at the matchups on offense and defense. The talent level is so similar that it takes one leader on each side to really take control. Our guy is Eli, their's is Bledsoe. If we get Eli up to his potential, he is better then Drew even with TO. Also, we have Pierce in the middle on defense, who do they have? Everything, I repeat everything will be necessary to win this division. We will need our crowd to be in it from game one, we will need to be in relatively great health throughout the season and we will need to play all 16 games a year at our fulles (cough Plax). But if we win this division by a clean game or so at say, 12-4, we have earned it and that confidence boost knowing we have won the toughest division in the NFL and with that record, will most likely have a bye. That confidence boost could launch us to the super bowl. Again, these type of things can be looked at as blessings in disguise if you think really hard about it.
  21. Looking more and more like a june 1st cut for me. I have a feeling next off-season will be very interesting, with the expected restrucutres, possible releases, etc. coming up. I remember reading a post giving some of this info in detail saying how we could be as far as 30 under if these things do happen.
