  1. Apparently, you're already in. Anyone else?
  2. He's got the best swing I've ever saw or at least one of them. It's so compact, he's going to hit it so hard every time he comes up it seems. A-rod is more talented then Wright but that is the case for everyone in baseball with A-rod. However, Wright can beat him at something. October baseball, we haven't seen what he could do there yet. We have seen what A-rod could do What a player.
  3. Heilman at one point threw it up to 97, he was trying to strike out all six batters, which we all know is not his game. He'll be fine.
  4. I see you've got baseball fever. Let's see them be a bit more consistent
  5. Way to completely ignore my owning of you
  6. That was something we lacked last year with Piazza. Not to mention he called a perfect game and had a nice day batting also. Soriano did a good job getting his hand in there though.
  7. Wednesday night could be very ugly with Patterson and Bannister. I would love 5-2 on this opening stand.
  8. I was just about to post about that. Were you listening around quarter of 7? This guy, my new idol, calls in saying what all of us listeners have always wanted to say. He said that they should stop whining about the Wagner thing and start talking about the game. Then, Francesa says "yeah, let's talk about the horrible call at homeplate." And Russo snickers in the background like an 8 year old kid would after his best friend kicked sand into a 6 year old's face (it was his stupid laugh in other words). Then, the guy snaps and calls them wash women and complete idiots that don't know anything about the game and hangs up. When it was over, I was applauding loudly and then when I stop, I here Francesa and Russo laughing about a joke they made of course behind this guy's back. They are the biggest pieces of shit in the world.
  9. You want to talk about playing hurt and not making much noise about it? We can have some things with Shockey in there too and I never heard him use excuses. Shockey played his entire second half of the season with turf toe in his rookie year. He never made a peep about it, only saying that there was a chance it was so severe he would need surgery in the off-season. Luckily, he didn't need it but it was still bad throughout the season where he put up the best numbers of his career possibly. In his second season, he had a very bad knee injury against the Falcons. He continuted to try and come back even when it looked like we were done anyway so hard, he agravvated his injury. That's how motivated he was. You can't question his motivation. 2004 nothing much went on. 2005 he played the last month or two of the season with a broken sternum Not to mention he didn't say a word about it until the day before the Panthers game. Along with that, he played with a high ankle sprain against Carolina. I don't care how bad he did against them, he showed toughness and motivation there. Oh and last I checked, Shockey had a very good game against San Francisco, just made that one bad drop that should never have been remembered if Fassel didn't consider the game over and changed our gameplan completely by putting in Dayne and running it to him not to mention our defense just flat out blowing it. Shockey should not be blamed at all for that loss.
  10. Nice to hear but I refuse to get my expectations high again only to be dissappointed.
  11. Well, I didn't get the FSNY games so I had no choice. It's awesome to have all 162 games on tv for me all season!
  12. Okay, if you understood football, you would've known that Shockey played the last couple months of the season with a broken sternum and none of us found out until a day or two before the Panthers game. Idiot.
  13. Well, he started to earn it today so far. Nice game for Papi.
  14. I'll send you an invite. Anyway interested in this league, post your e-mail address here.
  15. It's nice hearing Gary Cohen on TV rather then listening to him on the radio.
  16. Yeah, Reyes dissappointed me. But we need to give these guys some benefit of the doubt, it's really cold out there and they haven't faced true major league pitching in over half a year.
  17. I saw Braden Looper after that line drive by Vidro but then I stopped worrying and saw what is to come out of Wagner!
  18. Looks interesting, I just started one. The league name is the winner comes from here The password is giants.
  19. I'm not sure, I think he was referring to the Clemens pitch in the World Series.
  20. Hey, I'm just hoping for a rain delay to start the game for my own selfish needs
  21. The starting rotation is a gigantic question mark for me until proven otherwise.
