  1. Shut the fuck up dude When this day comes I'm gonna actually have to do workk
  2. Yeah but I'm fricken 13 man. I don't want to rush my childhood for this... lol. You're not helping either
  3. 2008 already? Yeeeesh. We're 6-1 and are tied for the best record in the majors. Enjoy it!
  4. I don't think that's possible. Looks very good so far but cy young? gotta love the optimism. He's gotten off to a nice start. Both of them look great but we're seven games in! Nice that he broke his 0-10 slide today. He's like a younger version of Cameron with more hitting ability but less fielding ability. Not just yet... but trust me, by year's end if everything goes right, he'll be among the best. He's the key to our possible success this season. Even on his worst days he hasn't given up too much. He got up to 99 today. Picked up right where he left off last year. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke. It doesn't look great, it's unbelievable. The improvement from last year is remarkable. Aside from the Reyes play on Sunday in the 9th, we've made every play possible and then some more! It's incredible. Has come back nicely from those slight struggles on opening day. Keep in mind... it's game 7. amen. I do too. Just keep in mind, this is the Mets. Don't get too cocky, there's 155 games left. Let's hope we all keep our heads and get to the division. Hopefully we won't get caught up in the excitement.
  5. Solid half round today guys. Taking part of this draft has really allowed me to realize how much depth there is in this draft. At pick #44, there was so much talent I could pick from and it was an extremely challenging pick. With this in mind, I hope the Giants take advantage of this.
  6. What the hell? 6-1? Tied for best record in baseball? Mets? WHAT!!
  7. We look like a ball club right now. Extremely good defense, and great execution on offense. Getting out of jams, solid bullpen pitching, and taking advantage of oppurtunities given not to mention creating oppurtunities.

    Beltran

He looks like he's having fun out there. And that's his running style btw, those are the words that Cohen used last year, "effortless." Even though I'm happy it seems Carlos is turning it around for good, I'm still sickened by some of the fans we have on our base. Booing him at opening day is pathetic.
  9. He hit a homer today
  10. ***NEW SELECTION*** This is a very, very tough pick for me. I've already picked a dominant linemen in this draft but another very good linemen dropped. However, this is a team with a lot of needs. Our front seven is in need of more help though seeing that Lewis is approaching the backend of his career. So with the 44th pick in the 2006 draft, the Baltimore Ravens select: Tamba Hali DE PSU
  11. Very excited about the prospects at my second rounder. Upset I don't have a third though
  12. The 33rd and 34th picks are done right? Not to be a burden, just wondering.
  13. It's a shame your knee blew out like it did. Then you'd be in the NFL and out of our hair with your 5 user names.
  14. Redskins | Taylor has trial delayed again Wed, 12 Apr 2006 11:45:14 -0700 The Associated Press reports Washington Redskins S Sean Taylor had his assault charges trial delayed Wednesday, April 12, as defense lawyers raised misconduct allegations, charging the lead prosecutor with using the case to promote his work as a nightclub disc jockey. The trial was delayed until Monday, May 8. Taylor faces a minimum of three years in prison on each of three aggravated assault charges which stems from a June 1 confrontation in a Miami neighborhood.
  15. Patriots | Seymour agrees to extension Wed, 12 Apr 2006 13:10:05 -0700 Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports New England Patriots DE Richard Seymour has agreed to a long-term extension. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
  16. So far, obviously it's early but it looks like it's tilted in our favor. Seo has had a mediocre at best first two outings with LAD and Sanchez has yet to allow a hit and is another needed arm in the pen. Also, Bannister is doing fine too, and he is Seo's replacement.
  17. At least in your other stupid posts, you sound serious. This is obviously an attempt at a joke.
  18. A separate question, do you think we could draft Allen in the third or fourth round and if he is available, should we?
  19. Ummm, Shockey had a high ankle sprain and a broken sternum. I'm surprised he was able to run with those injuries. Shockey may be injury prone but that doesn't mean you should question his heart and toughness, which he has a lot of.
  20. shhhhhhhhh. Guess he's not falling to my slot
  21. Lack of heart? He's played through several injuries throughout his career just to help us get to the playoffs or in 2003 and 2004, make us play competitive and help out the others. Come up short in pressure situations? Do you perhaps recall December 28th, 2002 when Shockey made a catch that tied the game that eventually got us into the playoffs? He wound up with 10 catches, 99 yards and 1 TD in the biggest game of the year with a turf toe injury.
