  1. He has improved over hist last few appearances against the Braves and I expect no different tomorrow.
  2. Well, he probably gets more info then the other guys who post blogs and he is doing his duty. He actually always says before his posts that these are rumors and don't take his word for it completely. So you can't say he was 100% sure while posting, he really was just the messenger of many rumors.
  3. Apparently the teams drafting cared. And durability could be used for what I was referring to. Said by the always reliable dictionary.com "Lasting; stable" is one of the defintions for it. I'm not calling out Bush btw. When I said he had durability problems, I was bringing back the segment from Sportscenter a while ago claiming that the only questions surrounding him by scouts is his durability. Hence, durability questions.
  4. We don't know if Bush is ready to be one of those 25 rushes a game back in the NFL. And those are the only questions surrounding him, but it is still one to be considered greatly when drafting. Bush is obviously the more talented player coming out of college but we're looking at this trade value wise. Teams are going to dish out more picks and money for a player coming out of college like Eli, who has the pedigree and the numbers to back it up instead of a RB, even Bush.
  5. Well, you are right there. Hell, all we need is this guy to get one! But these are rumors and if any of you watched Draft countdown today, the guys on it were talking about smokescreens and how many of them there are. This guy is probably the victim of all of the smokescreens set upon him and the nag to post all of them into blogs and helping the readers.
  6. I think the most likely candidate is the Jets even though I wouldn't agree with trading up. If it was for a guy like Eli Manning, then I would agree. But I don't care what Bush could do. This team has way too many needs right now to be giving up high picks for now and the future for one guy, especially with durability questions.
  7. And it was Adam Schefter of all people. I have a feeling he will sign soon.

    WTF

Unless it's a Sunday afternoon game against Colon, I think you don't have much success going to Yankees games, do you
  9. I'll never say this again... "Can't go wrong with David Wright." No hit today for him, streak over at 13 Picked Hafner for tomorrow
  10. Haven't had this feeling before. Not as thrilled as you guys would expect. Two of our key players this season already have stupid lingering injuries. Hopefully with this quick start, it allows them to take as much time as they need to heal and we could get them back at full strength.
  11. Fucken nagging injuries. I don't care about 10-2, we need to be healthy.
  12. We need some production in the bottom of the lineup! Wish I could answer your Floyd question.
  13. Pujols hit another today and is 2/2 so far with a double also.
  14. Looks like it. It's a slight hammy injury and Beltran doesn't want a repeat of last season so I say hold out as long as he wants. I'm a little bit worried about this. It's his second nagging injury in as many years. I don't know why Floyd left.
  15. I'm here... looking good so far. I need Wright to get a hit.
  16. Holy shit that sucked. I stopped it after 20 seconds. If there was a new song, I was expecting reggae or something from the Caribbean islands. Put me down David, Elizabeth
  17. Hernandez is not ready for major league pitching. He was our last option going into the season and he clearly is not ready for major league pitching. It appears to me that he has a nice stroke but won't be a big home run hitter. I can see him being a career .270 hitter which is fine at the bottom of the lineup. I recall that Matsui came on towards the end of last year. He started hitting balls harder and getting more hits. So I wouldn't mind giving him a shot again for a few games.
  18. He actually has a nice swing. The last couple of weeks have shown that he could be a solid fielder too and we obviously know he has very good speed. I don't think he's ready for major league pitching just yet but his swing is similar to Jose Reyes actually.
  19. I would love to have Nick back for a reasonable starter's price if we don't sign Lavar. Even if we do sign him, I would still like to have him back. But it isn't a perfect world and we'll just have to wait and see.
  20. Keep it realistic. We aren't winning 100 games this year unless quite a few unsung heroes come out of nowhere and some trades at the deadline. I don't think our pitching is consistent enough and Heilman, Sanchez, and Wagner can't pithc 140 games a year. I think the X factors to this year are Floyd and Julio. If Julio turns out to finally live up to potential, he can be an amazing asset to this pen. And we all know what Floyd can do. Imagine his bat hitting like last year in our new lineup this year.
  21. That's a very bold statement. I don't think our lineup is THAT deep to single handedly take us to the WS especially with our thin pitching staff and our suspect bullpen. No doubt we are a playoff team but I can't say that we'll definitely get to the WS... Liking the optimism though
