Nats are a good team. When people say we beat bad teams... that's untrue. This is a good team. Not an every year playoff team and we certainly are better but we're not talking about last year's Royals or something like that.

Eric seems pretty down on Eli IMO with what he had to say. Said he couldn't adapt to changes that defenses put on him. I disagree. I'll give Salisbury credit for this, he has said Eli will be a star since he was drafted and has stuck by that through everything. For once, I agree with everything he said today. Not only does Wingo hate the Giants, he's not funny. He has that stupid voice where he thinks he's funny but I believe they aren't funny at all. And you can tell he's probably a big time asshole off the set. I was disappointed with the length of the draft segment. Kiper just threw out a few names out there and boom it was off to commercial previewing another thing on Vince Young.

Especially after last year. If we do very good on this road trip, that's a huge thing for our team. We haven't exactly been good on west coast trips the last couple of years.

There are exceptions and Maroney may be one. I think you can't have too many good backs because these are the guys you rely on for offense over 300 times a year. They could also spell Edge with this guy and keep him fresh.

RBs knees are in question after every single hand off they take. It can't hurt having a guy like Maroney back up Edge. Because if Edge goes down, there season may too. JJs looked very bad in his first year. Granted, he was a rookie but he looked bad. Shipp is nothing that special. He's your Derrick Ward type back and he could easily be replaced.

No, but I can't expect us to win all three games. I would've liked to have won too though but the Mets can more then make up for this poor showing by a good series at Turner. This is another big test. We always suck on west coast road trips... besides the D-backs series last summer.
