    7-8 mill bonus, 10 mill less then what Lavar expected. I'd rather give him more in the seven year deal then what was expected then the bonus. And we haven't even found out the incentives yet. I think we're fully protected.

    One of them could be and I'd love to trade up for that. Just make sure we keep next year's first rounder and I'd be willing to give other things up.

    Short would definitely give it to him seeing that they are buddies but I don't think he would want that number that desperately.

    I know there's a Lavar thread but this desrves its own. That's a lot of money and I guess that he won't get all of it if he doesn't live up to his status.

    That's the only thing that would make me somewhat optimistic about this pick. But if this was the situation I still would like to trade down and get some more picks from a team that would like Deangelo as their RB, possibly the Colts.

    I'm more worried about the contract number at this point. 54 belongs to Short I believe. So I think it's either 55 or 52 for him if/when we sign him. Leaning towards #55 also.

    That pick is very fresh in my mind. That really set the tone for the draft But taking D'brickshaw is the pick I suggest the Texans do but if they do, they definitely will trade down. I think it's the right pick in the wrong slot.
