  1. Funny thing is, DE isn't their biggest need. They can get so many future picks and/or current picks by trading down three or four slots and getting D'brickashaw. I can see why they didn't draft Bush but passing up on him while not t
  2. Someone's going to die tomorrow if the Jets draft Bush... I'm gonna be really pissed off. I'll get into details later about why the Texans are big idiots.
  3. I'd be surprised if Ponder was on our final roster going into the season. Especially if we draft a WR in the first day: Plax Toomer Carter Tayor Tyree Potential draftee Ponder We aren't going to carry more then 6 WRs. I don't see him making the team. McQuarters is more for special teams coverage then anything else. Same with Ward. He only played a few games at KR. Morton is the only sure thing returner we really have right now.
  4. Well, this is probably Sheff's last year. He may have more years in him left but with what he did this spring training, the Yanks probably don't want much more of him. They can replace him though.
  5. You guys should get direcTV, especially you out of town Giants, Mets, and/or Yanks fans. I don't know what I'd do without my sports.
  6. Me too. Except for Whitner. I like him a lot but we have two young safeties who both have nice potential and can certainly play in the NFL. If he was the only guy that fell, then I'd take Watson instead of Whitner. But Whitner's not falling to our slot.
  7. Darren Sproles appears to be a damn good KR at 5'6 or whatever he is..
  8. Except we get the potential that he has and the possibility of being more then just a space eater. Personally, I'm not for drafting DTs in the first but in this draft there are exceptions such as Ngata and Bunkley. I like Gabe, but if we have other guys we like available, I would rather one of them. Still, I wouldn't mind that much a pick such as Watson.
  9. Word is the Giants love Maroney and see a resemblance with him and Tiki. So I wouldn't be shocked if we took him at 25 but if we had to pick between Maroney and Deangelo, I'd say Deangelo. Maroney needs to improve his pass catching skills though.
  10. Yeah, the last time I was this excited for something was our playoff game. It's the mystery of the draft that's got me so pumped right now. This year has more options then ever, that's what has me excited. Even the #1 pick no one really knows right now. Then I don't know what happens when it's over :brooding:
  11. I don't know why everyone wants Favre back so much. He has a little bit left, yes, but no support cast to win now and they are letting last year's first rounder rot on the bench. Another year or two and he may be screwed. It's not as if Favre coming back is going to do anything either...
  12. This is a point I just thought of with Gabe. We don't need him to be a guy who can get us 8 sacks and be a tackling machine. He's basically going to take up the role of NT even though it's a 4-3. Just take up some blockers and be a legitimate threat so we can free up even more Lavar, Pierce, Osi, and Strahan. We wouldn't need the stat production, we would need him to take up some blockers. And I think Gabe could be that guy.
  13. Yep, that's true. But keep in mind that you can't expect a young QB to do good in his first playoff game especially since he was slowing down as it is against a veteran team with a lot of playoff experience. And if the o-line didn't block for Eli, then why do you blame Eli so much? Michael Vick couldn't have escaped that pressure.
  14. I saw their mock draft and it had Deangelo Williams going to Jacksonville. I'll say this again, I think Deangelo has the edge over Maroney.
  15. And I didn't realize he was their top prospect either.
  16. Maybe they are making Zambrano start in NY instead of Atlanta because that the Mets want the fans to chase him out.
  17. How can you underacheive when you are really not that good to begin with?
  18. I agree with that list and don't forget to put Laurence Maroney in there. Some guy in the Giants department is saying that we are intrigued with his playmaking ability and his resemblance to Tiki. But if both Deangelo and Laurence are available at #25 and we really wanted the RB, I'd go with Williams.
  19. Yeah, seeing that our LB staff compiled of names such as Alonzo Jackson, George Foreman, and Nick Greisen, we were exposed of having poor depth because 2 of the 3 backup LBs were starting. Not to mention Shockey was hurt. Oh yeah, tell me how the Steelers did in the playoffs in 2004-2005? I guess they were exposed too.
