I think Taylor should've gone through training camp, got cut as worst case scenario, and start a new career with a team that could actually use him. I guess he had more of an injury we didn't know about.

I'm very pleased with Milledge's fielding ability. However, even though it is extremely early in his career, his hitting already has noticeable flaws. He gets beat easily with fastballs 94+. Very over-anxious... I don't think he is ready for major league pitching yet. Hopefully, he'll fix this stuff up when he goes back to the minors when Nady comes back. It's nice that he's getting a taste though.

Oh yeah, remember when Eli ran down one sideline away from Gerard Warren and did a complete spin to get away from him, ran back to the middle of the field and threw a strike to Plax for a first down on third down. Wow.

No, he made a great play at second yesterday that saved the game, but I don't see him as an every day guy. Maybe on day games after night games, Kaz can play second, Castro plays catcher, and then Milledge can start to get accustomed to his future role batting second in the lineup.

As fun as late victories are, I don't want to make this a habit. The D-backs are a very good team, but we were home and I think we are better than them. But in baseball, you can't keep this up consistently. Get some easy wins Mets!

I agree with lemmiwinks. I think Tiki will have a solid year. But if Eli progresses properly and our WR core stays healthy and effective, there will be not as much need for those check down short passes to Tiki. And Tiki will get 1450 yards this year... something around there.
