We had Jeremi fricken Gonzalez starting on Friday and still won. You guys had Small, who still is better than Gonzalez and lost. We really should've swept you guys. That collapse was an abberation.

I agree with this for the most part but... Floyd's comments are a little bit uncalled for. He's been on his back ever since Lastings has come up relentlessly. Originally I thought he's good but now he's pushing it. Anyone else notice that?

I watched that game. It was a nothing special outing by Pavano really. Hardly shutting them down. He was in place for the win yes and also did have a solid game but certainly not shutting them down. Anyway, what does Pavano have to do with Beckett at this point? Just because they came from Florida and had similar debuts against the opposing team doesn't mean shit.

Face it, the booing isn't helping. And that is not the reason the booers are doing it. They are drunk and are seeing their star going through a horrible time. Very rarely is booing used as motivation. I've gone to about 50 Giants games in my life, and when I've booed, I don't try to motivate.

I may be making a bigger deal then this really is... but I'm not too thrilled about it. He says he wishes it was from a fight, but I have a feeling his wish may be true. I'm not trying to be a pessimist about this, but with events that have taken place in South Florida over the years, I wouldn't be shocked to hear if Shockey had actually gotten into a fight. Don't rip here guys, just speculation. Just not thrilled about it.

Just a heads up, I have a strong feeling that the Eagles and Bears home games will be moved to Sunday night. FOX will use one of its things to not allow NBC to take our Cowboys Giants game at home. Just speculation, but it appears likely.

The home runs are fun, but in reality, Citizens Bank Park is a joke. It being as small as it is is bad enough, but the way the ball carries in the summer is unheard of. It carries a little less than Coors Field in a smaller ballpark. The Phillies aren't going to do shit there unless they have sinker ball pitchers. Very nice ballpark though. I enjoyed my time there

The Fab 4 for this forum are like steroids for this section. They enhance the discussion and posts in this section, but just in the wrong way. And when they leave the section, there is nothing left. Kind of like in baseball We'll be back though. Once there's something to talk about, we'll get going.

I admit, I have taken place in boos for my favorite team but now I wonder, what's the point of booing? Does it make the fans feel better? I tend to agree with booing the team as a whole, such as when the Giants run into the locker room at halftime trailing 17-0 and playing horribly. That is deserving boos. But when you strike out on a 96 MPH heat (I'm speaking in general, not as if A-rod has or hasn't seen this), I don't see what booing does. Do you guys follow me here? I can't get my point out right

There's practically no chance this game gets cancelled. I'm not worried. Wow is all I have to say. The combined of our very good hitting with their horrible fielding is unbelievable.

In all fairness to A-rod, if I were at that game as a Yankees fan there is no way I'd boo him. It's fun to make fun of him from a perspective of a fun that hates the Yankees in general, but I'm really surprised Yanks fans have listened and have gone on to boo him.

In all seriousness, I think Melky was literally trying to be the hero again, making a play that was extremely hard and wasn't even his ball. So that catch may be getting in his head.

I've tried it, the Mo's around my town sucks. Yet it's the best store within about 40 minutes of the town. Maybe Sports Collectibles in the Woodbridge Mall will be the ticket...
