All of a sudden, I really don't care about this game. Maybe it's because I'm confident that this team is actually better then the Yanks this year unlike past years or that we have a 12 game lead that no one even wants to take away from.
This might actually be a very boring stretch run the way things are going. I'm not sure if that's such a good thing.
I think Cohen hit the nail right on the head with the Mets fans and the Red Sox. He said that most Mets' fans second favorite team is the Red Sox. My hatred for the Yanks is a bit extreme so that's why I like the Sox more then other Mets fans do. That and I enjoy watching guys like Manny and Papi do what they do day in and day out.
Yeah, I was worried about this game when I saw the schedule earlier in the year but now I get to enjoy a series between two teams I like with a 12 game cushion. I'm a Met fan at heart so I am rooting for the Mets as hard as I usually do. I actually broke my remote when Wright struck out last night with the bases juiced in the fifth
That was a dissappointing game last night. No timely hitting, poor baserunning calls, bad fielding, and bad pitching. Not a good game tonight.
I can't wait for tonight. It's gonna be a dandy for sure.
You guys need a spark in your rotation. It may be a big risk but it could garner huge rewards. I'm not saying I would bring him up soon but I wouldn't rule it out either...
Lovin' the reaction Pedro got.
I'm shocked at how many Mets fans there are tonight, I didn't realize we were that well spread out
Soler vs. Lester was a bust tonight. So far a very exciting game but in terms of pitching, not good at all.
