It's nice to hear that Bannister has gained a lot during his injury time. Supposedly he has more velocity on his pitches and has two new pitches that he claims he has good control of. We shall see how he fares.

It's not as if we got nothing in return though. So it wasn't totally the fact that we just had to do it, we did get some decent value in return for short-term, and hopefully long term too (with Perez).
