  1. I'm sorry guys, but if you believe this is a Super Bowl team then assume we will dominate this game. A Super Bowl team dominates this game and plays great the next week, and beats another great team. We shall see.
  2. What does Ward being back have anything to do with using Jacobs more?
  3. Not ia sexy win, but Tampa is a tough team. Give em some credit, Gruden has them playing tough. I <3 Brandon Jacobs :worshippy: Oh, and did anyone mention it was windy at the meadowlands today?
  4. It would've been unbelievable if we managed to get to the WS though. And we didn't deserve to go there, not with the way our bats hit in 5 of the 7 games.
  5. I think we should have Heilman slated as TBD heading into spring training. And if Mota and Sanchez pick up right where they left off and we have a couple of other reliable relievers, Heilman is a starter. Hopefully we're interested in Loretta. That'd be a great signing. We could have two Reyes in the lineups with Reyes himself and Endy Chavez batting 7th, and then Loretta would bat 8th behind him. Loretta has a similar batting style to lo Duca, so it would kinda be like having two 1-2 hitters.
  6. A big reason of why we lost that game was because we couldn't snap the ball to Matt Allen. It went right over his head before halftime, and he had to take a safety for it. That was a killer.
  7. That's why it's a pipe dream
  8. It's not gonna happen. If we refused it two off-seasons ago, there is no reason for us to do it now. Maybe if they throw in Loretta, but that's it. I think the Red Sox would know not to put Lastings in left field, seenig how great he played in Fenway last year
  9. That's gonna be us celebrating next year. I know it. This was the year where we took another big step forward on our way to a WS championship. Now is the time where we make that final step. Baseball season is too long though. Half the teams are either worn out and bitten by injuries that are a result of too many games and dead throwing arms.
  10. Too bad I couldn't enjoy that more than I should've. I was too busy worrying that the Giants were on the verge of blowing a 19 point lead.
  11. Sinorice's bro Santana had the same problem in his rookie year. He missed 11 games I think.
  12. Not Tuck. Kiwanuka. We may see some weird things on defense now.

  14. I thought it was a pretty weak call and it brought me back to scary memories of what Dhani Jones did to that punt returner against SF in the 2003 playoff game. You know, when he fair caught it at our 43 yard line than started running, and Dhani clueless as hell tackled the guy. I was just waiting for Strahan to point to the scoreboard as TO did the tennis celebration as he scored the TD. That would've really gotten me worried about this game
  15. If we win the next two, I wouldn't rush Osi back for the Chicago game unless he really is 100%. The matchup against the probable undefeated team is nice and all, but we got some crucial games after the Titans game down the stretch in December. Don't want to lose him for then.
  16. So you think no other team in the majors would be looking for a player like Matsui at a reasonable price with a reasonable contract? I'd like to take you up on that one.
  17. I haven't been and I'm not regretting it as of now. Can a world series get any more boring?
  18. Are you sure? I'm sure plenty of teams will be looking for a reliable left handed bat.
  19. I'm just glad we got through that game. The Giants have a reputation of knocking out the starting quarterback and allowing the backups to beat us
  20. That was one of the ugliest games I've ever gone to. Ugh. Still got images of Dexter McCleon getting his INT that day. 38-24 or something like that, right?
  21. I agree, but I thought we got a little too addicted to the long pass after Plax for that first TD catch. Eli started to look downfield too much, throw into double coverage more, etc. He started to settle down a little bit later in the game as he always does, but our gameplan could've been a little better in that aspect. Don't get me wrong, I love taking shots. But I thought we pushed it a little bit.
  22. I've never been critical of broadcasting until last night. That was god fucking awful.
