  1. Romo is exceptional at making throws with touch.
  2. It's so easy to hate so many WRs in the NFL these days. We need an influx of young respectable studs that can make us forget about guys like Moss, TO, and maybe even Plax. It just makes fans like me have more respect for Harrison or guys like him.
  3. I think Romo's going to be a star but keep in mind this is a QB who has started 5 games in his career. No matter how great the QB, all young ones faltered at some point. Hopefully that day will come against us, in 18 degree weather with heavy snow
  4. You know what, we really need Moss back. He is our only hope for catching the 50 yard bombs. Carter we know can't, Plax is too unpredictable, and we don't know about Tyree.
  5. After a recovered fumble in practice yesterday, Osi took a jump shot. That was refreshing to read. And they say Strahan is making progress as expected to. I don't know what that means, but I have him coming back against Carolina.
  6. My cousin is a die hard Bolts fan and says this line has been unbeilevably and LDT is being slightly overcredited for what he is doing. He thinks he is the man, but the line has been creating unimaginable holes for LDT and amazing protection for Rivers.
  7. The entire station has become a joke now. Unless it is a game that is crucial I won't watch it. It's become unbearable.
  8. He never said anything about the Boys being better. Berman said the Giants need to turn around and look who is in the rear view mirror and explains why there is a little bit of a sense of urgency, and then Irvin interrupts Berman and says "Yo booma, who behind da giants. tell me who?" And then while young asks him if his middle name is homer, he flaps his hands on his desk like he's retarded. He seriously looked like a retard.
  9. This is why we need Moss back. The only pure deep threat with good enough hands on our team.
  10. And I'm tired of the shot guy inside draw shit. Can we do any other types of runs besides an inside draw against two of the most dominant tackles in the game? And did anyone else notice when there was a spread formation Eli was making better decisions? Quick passes to Tyree, Shockey, and then he made a nice read on the TD pass to Plax. He saw the blitz, made a nice quick throw, Plax made a nice move and it was a TD. That wsa a nice drive. Too bad it shouldn't have even happened if it weren't for illegal contact.
  11. Young is actually the best ESPN analyst. Not saying much, but it's true. He put Irvin in his place on MNF countdown
  12. Sorry man, we're not going 12-4. Love the optimism, but it's not happening. Hope I'm wrong! And FFFF, I agree with everyone of your points. Just a question, have we had a good drive the entire season in the 1st quarter that led to a TD? You know, a nice 9 play 70 yard drive in our 2nd, 3rd drive of the game? That's something this team is lacking. The efficient drive consistently.
  13. I consider myself to be cautiously optimist. Enlighten me on where my homerness shows. One mistake I know I made was that I predicted this game would be a rout... in Giants favor :brooding:
  14. The Sox did what more teams should do of. They let a guy go that helped their franchise out for years but no longer was worthful to them. The Jets should've cut Martin after his rushing title season. Even though it would've made Jets fans insane, it would've been the right move. I think the Jets knew after his big season he at most had a little bit more than a year left. Jordan at that time looked like he had a solid 5 seasons and they could've brought him back with the money they freed up by signing Martin. Even though he's suckign and hurt in Oakland, who knows how he could've fared with NY. And it turns out the Sox were right in letting Mueller go, seeing how he fared this year. You can't put loyalty to a washed up player in front of your team's plan for the future. It's just not how it should work.
  15. Based on my opinion off of one throw, I'm a homer? It was a great throw in the middle of a shitty game for Eli. You know I know well enough how bad Eli played, but by no means does it make me a homer to believe that it was a great throw by Eli.
  16. What makes you think they are going to be healthy? And what makes you think if they are healthy means that they are going to be effective. This team is a question mark year in and year out. All of us have no clue what to expect out of the Cubs. Soriano will probably hurt his hammy in spring training, Lou will force him to play through it, and then Sori will be out 4 months. That wouldn't surprise me.
  17. If the Jags could catch the ball, it would've been over by halftime. It's as simple as that.
  18. The gameplan sucks too. Everything sucks. We are trying to do things our offense is not capable of doing. And Eli is getting killed for it too, with good reason. I'm honestly not prepared to going into an off-season contemplating if Eli is our guy. I'm really not ready for that.
  19. The refs gave us our share of breaks too. The PI call was bullshit but it was because of them we were still in the game. The illegal contact penalty "saved" the game. I don't like refs either, but after a game like this, losers complain about refs.
  20. I stand by Eli with my life, but the difference is that Eli's stats for the year may look decent, but he is so inconsistent. I'm sure Donovan, Peyton, and the other elite QBs had more of a consistent good stats then Eli did last year. It's his inconsistency that worries me. The nice thing we know about Eli is that he is capable of making that huge throw. That should have been a TD on that bomb to Plax but unfortunately things didn't go the right way.
  21. I thought it was a beautiful throw. Plax did a great job of getting open, but it appeared that he lost it in the lights somewhat, kept the ball up in the air, and made a great effort on trying to get the catch. But I personally thought that Plax should've caught it and got a TD. That one was a killer. Because it was a beautiful throw.
  22. The most painful part about this is that we are still in it. Let's just make it to 7-4 against Dallas.
  23. Hitting wise they are very talented. But they don't have enough pitching.
  24. Lowell seemed to do fine this year...
  25. What makes you think they are gonna win it all now?
