I think the offense is dying for a Tight End like Boss. I know some guys are high on 45 but I don't see it. Proof is Eli doesn't look for him too much.

I think there's too much emphasis on draft position. There's not one player that will be sitting at 10 or 11 that will put us over the top. What we do throughout the entire draft is much more important.

Depends who it is. If it's an accomplished coach like Payton, I wouldn't be very patient. If it's a coordinator making a move I might give him a game and a half. ;p

The real question is who replaces Coughlin if he goes? Is there someone you think highly of? If there is talent at head coach, I'm all for it. Still think he's going to retire.

If we agree that the talent level is sub par, how can we truly rate the Coordinators?

Yeah LW, the only thing that bugs me about Coughlin is the consistent injuries. And I don't think there's much he can do about it except build a team like New England, which is kind of like a McDonalds where the positions are repeatable and redundant to any player of a certain talent level.

i agree- LT and Marshall used to consistently get a Roughing the Passer penalty in the 1st Quarter just to set the tone.

For me I see a mostly over matched team playing their hearts out and coming up just short. I think a lot of things went right to get them that close.

i don't mind it. the NFL does everything they can to make the players nameless and have it be about the league. Cam is no different then he was in College and before. He's promotional. What that has to do with winning or not winning a Super Bowl is lost on me. Joe Namath was promotional.

I think at his age we should be opportunistic. If there is someone out there that could be our next 10 years coach (which I don't see right now except maybe Payton) then he should bow out. Otherwise, 1 more years I guess.
