  1. Kiper downgrades Giants 2015 draft: ESPN NFL draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. is out with annual re-grading of the 2015 NFL Draft [ESPN Insider]. When it comes to the New York Giants Kiper doesn't appear to like the team's draft class quite as much as he did immediately after the draft. Kiper's New Grade: C+ Kiper's Post-Draft Grade: B- Kiper writes: I know Ereck Flowers was able to step in this season, but he struggled for the most part. I wrote then: "While the pick made sense, I had Flowers at No. 27 overall on my final Big Board, so for me this wasn't a 'best player available' situation." In a nutshell, the Giants reached on Flowers and have to hope he develops into the kind of player that can stick at left tackle. I see that as a major question. Landon Collins is a good player I think people need to be patient with given all that he was asked to do. After those two, it's hard to say who could break through based on early returns. Again, I saw Flowers as a first-rounder; I just thought it was a bit rich that early.
  2. Seems a little hollow- This will be 7 times for Brady. Obviously the best QB ever.
  3. LOL, yes. I know I've said this before but I think a tall receiver makes Eli comfortable. So if we're going to have a TE who's just serviceable, I'd prefer a tall one. Or a tall 2nd or 3rd WR.
  4. Same reason Hynoski got open. No one cared to guard him.
  5. Rueben Randle doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Amani Toomer. Amen to that?
  6. I think his offense is more about tempo than mobile QB. He needs someone who studies the playbook and has the smarts to run a high tempo offense. Control and accuracy. Ability to run 74 offensive plays per game. I don't see where Kaepernick fits.
  7. What I saw of kaipernick this season, it's hard to believe he fits any system
  8. as a 3 maybe, not as a 2. Prefer not at all.
  9. Hue wants to shop for the ingredients and cook the meal. Maybe eat it too. No thanks
  10. Problem is wherever Coughlin goes, he takes OC and DC with him.
  11. ahh can't keep up with the 30 different threads. It's like Obama threads
  12. Yeah, or win the Wild Card runoff and get blown out in the next playoff game and be sitting at 25th or 26th. I'd take either scenario. It's all about winning.
  13. yup- if they had been down by 4, they might've been better off. But, Zimmer played the game perfectly. All about field position and not making mistakes. Can't fault him for much. If they do, we'll take him!
  14. Wonder if the stress of being the only competent LB on the team led to some of his injuries. Certainly added to his stress level.
  15. Parcels was a smart enough and an excellent assessor of talent to take Belicheck back as a DC in New Enhland and Jets. Let Seph have his rant. Parcels must've snubbed him for an autograph.
  16. i've been round the block a few times with Seph on this. He's got his mind made up. As you said, HOF coach.
  17. He took New England to the Super Bowl in1996, a team that hadn't sniffed a playoff game in 8 years. Brought the Jets their best record ever (12-4) and a home playoff . Dallas, he discovered Romo and brought them 2 playoff games in 4 years. Eagle fans, would you accept this kind of success?
  18. yeah, this is similar to the stat of Tye having the best stats for any rookie tight end. Simply, he was thrust into a position due to attrition. Not many other teams had their rookies as starting TE's,I'd imagine. So it could be said that Flowers was one of the best rookie Left Tackles.
