Our coahes need to find ways to make up for the weakness ( if indeed there is weakness) at whatever position. In today's NFL, there's going to be some positions not as strong as others. With a veteran QB and premier receiving corp, you find ways to keep the defense off balance and compensate for the weaker links.
  2. looks like we need another OT... New York Giants offensive lineman Michael Bowie was charged Friday with misdemeanor domestic assault and battery in Oklahoma following an alleged incident involving his girlfriend. Lori Fullbright‏ of KOTV first reported the news. James Kratch of NJ Advance Media noted Bowie, who also faces two counts of property damage, has a warrant out for his arrest in Tulsa County. The 25-year-old Tulsa native won't travel to FirstEnergy Stadium with the Giants to face off with the Cleveland Browns in their second preseason game, according to Kratch. Kratch also passed along a statement from the organization about the developing story. "We were made aware of the Michael Bowie situation Saturday afternoon. We immediately notified NFL security," the Giants said. "Michael will not make the trip for our game in Cleveland as we gather more information on this issue."
  3. I was eating a salad (southwestern salad is the bomb) at chik fil a and was told to have a blessed day 4 times plus the server was singing jesus songs. A little culty
  4. Yeah I herd about that, there's one game they will be open for.
  5. good- he runs patterns like he's on a Segway
  6. It's a Tebow situation, really. He's not that good. Probably good enough to be a backup but then you don't want to deal with a notorious backup. Not so much because of what he did but because people will think he's better than he is because they know his name.
  7. Train camp would be cool....
  8. Thanks for the report, Dragon!
  9. I'm suspicious of every home run hitter, Osi- especially those who have big spikes in production. Check the stats
  10. Good ballplayer- home run numbers spikes in 14 and 15 are suspicious but as long as he stays on whatever he was on, Rays are good.
  11. "I would take him because of his talent... the crying though. " Yeah it gets on my nerves too, there aren't many good receivers who aren't divas. Not a lot of Calvin Johnsons in the NFL. Frankly I think the Giants chastize him too much. Eli should just say that's my teammate and I love him. As far as talen though, it's off the charts. Not just the physical and the speed, but he knows the game and he's one of the most instinctive atheletes I've ever seen. And I've been around awhile.
  12. Do the math,Shred- a lot fewer than 81 games left. I guess if you're counting all the way thru the Series., you're still good.
  13. Mets tried to follow the Giants formula for success which was: Big park, big starting pitching, big bullpen, spray hitters. Unfortunately, baseball juiced the ball and I think a lot of players as well. Now they both suck.
  14. You definitely have a point. If he weren't so terrible, he'd have been signed before St. Patricks day. A clubhouse cancer, he actually bought himself some cred by doing what he did.
  15. we need a 10 year mourning period when eli retires during which kanell jr and graham jr. and little tommy maddox man the QB position.
  16. Yes, and if Jerry Rice doesn't fumble in the first posession that the 49ers win instead of the Giants winning 49-3
  17. Brown was a #1 supplemental huge difference yuge
  18. you need a good backup remote
  19. NFL knows how to build up a body. As long as it doesn't involve weed, it's cool
