  1. yup youre right. Who wouldve thought that Jacksonville becomes a better destination than NYG. Coughlin must be chuckling.
  2. Big NL parks still play that way. Pitching Defense get on base. Series ususlly plays that way too.
  3. Any team that's considering Judge batting leadoff doesn't need much more help. Phillies just pulled a Zito contract.
  4. I think the front office hasn't forgotten the dissent from last year.
  5. We havent had it done right with 4 legs in a while
  6. its still kicking. If you have the leg, it can be done
  7. In the early 60s the Giants had a halfback named Don Chandler who was also the punter and Placekicker. Eventually, he got traded to Green Bay, where he figured prominently in the first 2 Super Bowls. http://goo.gl/images/c8H3Ef
  8. San Francisco and Berkeley has better Pizza than NYC. LA has equal Deli
  9. I was thinking of that today- especially since with the new rules punts happen only north of the 50 and field goals south of the 35, plus the touchback and the 2 point conversion. All this has cut the workload in half so youd think you could find the Don Chandler of this generation.
  10. our entire kicking game has gone off the rails.
  11. I've watched Eli since Old Miss, his accuracy has always been suspect. The ball sails on him and he has zero touch on the dinks and dunks and screens. This is why I was often clamoring to get a tall receiver for the guy. You need that extra 6 inches with him (that's what she said).
  12. I don't want to watch him do anything, thank you very much. Beckham, if he sticks with it,may be the best I've ever seen at that. Also, it takes an accurate QB to thread that needle- something that's also been missing in the Eli era.
  13. It's all ego- like the Rick Barry underhand shot.
  14. I don't know why these straight pull hitters with power don't develop a left field swing. That would eliminate the severe shift on them and raise their average by 30 points in Belt's case.
  15. That was most telling. I expected to see him around 20. How can you not learn to poke a ball to the right side of the field, especially at a real ballpark like ATT. Hes have a lot better numbers at little Yankee stadium it thats not where he is.
  16. ....And Manning goes to Arizona and wins a 3rd ring...
  17. I think I want a QB first. Now's the time for the future. Anyone who lived through the Brown/Graham/Kannell era knows what I'm talking about. Anyone who's seen the Browns also knows. I say grab Rosen- all this negative BS is smoke. So what if he's a smart kid who has other interests besides Football- So does Andrew Luck. We should be able to get a RB better than who we have as well. RB's don't last as long as QB's, therefore not as valuable a pick.
  18. What has happened to the quality first baseman? This list is pretty woeful. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2757625-mlb-position-power-rankings-2018-brs-top-30-first-basemen?share=other
  19. I think you contradicted yourself a few times there. Of course you need to wait for the results, duh- so, in hindsight, there were many miraculous deals as well as many deals that didn't get done that turned out as miraculous. What I would like to see is the Giants being agressive. If that means they move down or up or sideways, so be it. I don't claim to know as much as their experts do.
  20. I dont recall a draft where the Giants pulled a miraculous deal or bluffed everyone out. They are normally a straight forward, wait your turn type team. They moved up for Collins which proved out but that wasnt really blockbuster. Would like to see a new attitude in the front office on draft day.
