  1. you're right. for all the accolades he gets, he's still underrated. people think he has a bad game when he doesn't get a sack. meanwhile, he's blowing up every screen and every sweep run to his side and some run to the other side. probably the smartest DE in the league.
  2. Do you think Drew had no idea the Sox were interested in him when he walked away from 33 mill with the Dodgers? Can anyone say collusion? Regarding D Mat, the Sox are going to make the 50mill up in marketing him over the next 3 years and as someone said theres no salary cap hit. Good deal, John Henry's not stupid (which leads me to believe it's Epstein who loves Drew)
  3. guy i watch the games with just calls him 'that hawiian guy' ( i know he's not hawaiian)
  4. no way, he loves the west coast. Dodgers, Angels, Padres or Giants.
  5. Of all of those, I think the .400 average is most impressive. There's no luck involved there. even 56 games streak, a guy could get lucky. But when you think of the people who have flirted with .400. Carew, Brett, Gwynn and come up short. That would be something special. Oh, and you can't use any special vitamins to bat .400 either.
  6. your inside sources told you all this?
  7. They'll see 'gee, that barry bonds was years ahead of his time and those giants fans were very wise for cheering him.... '
  8. Fassel is also in consideration @ Stanford as is Harbaugh.
  9. really, wow. i guess no one told them he was Dee You Enn, DUN. We would have given them Blownitez for 2 bottles of barbecue sauce.
  10. Tony was hooked on Krispy Kremes and Cal had a serious caffeine addiction.
  11. This doesn't include the signing bonus which is the guaranteed money. for example, Lavar's was 5.5 mill which makes his average salary about 3.7
  12. yes i agree. remember when andy reid did that in his first year as HC and it worked, he was revered. Then he did it the following year, opening day KO and it didn't work, he almost got booed out of philly.
  13. going to be hard to wrestle that 3rd receiver slot from tyree
  14. This is like saying my new Porsche looks a little bit better than the 1989 Accord I just picked up for $2500. Romo's a real find, maybe the best value since Brady. Considering the Cowboys recent history of QB's since Aikman, it's a major upgrade.
  15. i'm not saying he did (probably) or he didn't but the training has nothing to do with it.
  16. dockery had good coverage all day, even on the deep passes that Drew Carter caught (where'd he come from?), those were just good throws and catches.
  17. yes, that's a good comparison and logical explanation. what say you and I take over the play calling next week?
  18. ok but what does that have to do with what i said? i'm pointing out that in successive games he's been flushed left and he's been money. at the same time, the rolling pockets or planned rollouts all go right and he's been awful on the run to that side. perhaps someone should look into that.
  19. Has anyone noticed that he throws better on the run moving left than moving right. Odd for a right handed QB, but worth exploiting. I hope one of the coaches is noticing this.
  20. you need a good training regimen when you're on steroids. what do you think, the muscles just appear? your statement does'nt do much to disprove suspicions about rocket.
  21. is that the guy from the daily news? what a reach...
