Garcia played for 2 quarters today- chucky's already started resting his team- don't let today's score fool you. texans? i thought they got killed by the colts today- that's the game i watched...... look, you know i would like nothing more than the Giants having a good showing on the playoffs- i'm just not expecting much.

I watch all the games most weeks and I don't feel the Giants are that good. In the playoffs, you have to score in the red zone- we don't know how. In the playoffs, you don't face Trent Edwards most generous arm. In the playoffs, you don't blow a field goal try going into the end of the half and get away with it. Shall I go on? We have to get a lot better and fast.

So name a playoff team you'd rather play other than the Giants.

You know when they say 'no one wants to face this team in the playoffs?" we're the opposite of that team.

I remember last year i was in a bar when the Giants came back from 21 down in the 2nd half and the announcer said the last time the giants came back from this deficit .... and i said "1970 Redskins- fran tarkenton" everyone looked at me like i was crazy.

agreed, as i said, they were calling a loose game. your team showed a lot of heart, especially impressed with portis. good game.

Looks like the refs made a decision to let mostly everything go and keep the game moving. it was cold out there, for crissakes.

i was thinking to myself- 'it doesn't seem so difficult for the visiting team' i will say that michaels/madden is still the guys i would pick to announce the superbowl- best pair in football. appreciate them even more after hearing the likes of Gumbel/Dion/ Faulk on Saturday.

Main thing with defense and offense is no one is stepping up and making a play. Madison could have made a house call today with a ball in his hands. We sorely needed a turnover from the defense, it's been a while. I expected our D line to demolish this team. It's not like Todd Collins is elusive. Tentative play on both sides of the ball. Eli hung in there okay for a guy playing basically alone. I think Giants hate playing at home because they've been getting off to slow starts and the fans get on their case (rightly so). On the road, they have a chance to 'play themselves well ' without feeling the negativity.
