There was a 'drop' by Toomer last night. At first it looked like it was right between the numbers but then I watched the replay. Granted it was a drop but the pass was a bit behind him, causing him to adjust his route and waddled like a duck on the way to him. Now I know he should have caught it and they can't all be spirals but can some be spirals?
i agree with this point. The team has more confidence going into the Tampa because of this game. Even if (and I hope not) those 3 injuries cause replacement.
new england knows that he who retaliates, usually gets the flag. they are trained that way- intimidate the opponent, win at all costs. they play like that with everyone, we weren't special.
re: pushoffs- every good receiver including plax does it.
compared to the rest of the coverage on NFL, he was pretty balanced. face it, they were the story. we did our best to screw it up and won some street cred in the process.
The fact that the Giants were able to find the end zone from close in 4 times justified this game as worthwhile and gave us confidence to go forward into the playoffs. I think it was a great game.
