i've been hearing that king james really wanted bibby or kidd. This might not be good for Cleveland because Wallace slows them down and james likes to run. makes some sense. some say it's a desperation move by cleveland to make him happy that they did something.
I saw DeAngelo Hall berate a teammate for intercepting a pass (which sealed their victory) that he felt was his ball. Instead of celebrating, he was actually upset. Thumbs down on this guy, we don't need him. :TD:
I'm just thinking of that commercial where they show the offensive linemen and that ominous voice says:
"They have names like Jimbo and Jumbo............. and Flozell??????"
i so agree we need an upgrade in our backup QB- wright and lefty are jokes. i don't think that brunell has much left in the tank, though. ideally, i'd like a seneca wallace type of backup
Nate Clements- and trades like those (star for star) just don't happen in the NFL. possibly trade him to move up on draft day if there's someone they want.
i prefer a change of pace backup to another pocket passer. a successful backups should disrupt the game plan of the opposing team. so if your team has a pocket passer (like eli) i prefer a scrambler, someone who the defense wasn't planning on. think montana/young- simms/hoss-
eli doesn't need the tutelage of a grey hair QB- my opinion of course.
