    Giant

I'd have kept Digger Bujnoch- can't have enough Diggers on a team.
  5. Jeremy Green is an idiot- if it weren't for his daddy, he'd be reporting for the boise gazette. (no offense to boise)
  6. wow- i didn't think he was a giant for that long. good call, x
  7. OJ Anderson was on the '86 team? I don't think so..
  8. thanks and freak went 7 1/3, 1 run 10k's- win.

Still, that is awful close if not Lincecum advantage so there goes that theory. 10. To answer that, you have to first assess if the 07 pats are better than the 86 broncos. i would say they were similar giving pats an edge in coaching and cheating.

    Strahan

i really don't think it was about more money. he's just resigned to being retired. he went out on the tippy top and he's got a cush job paying 2 mill. i respect his decision and wish him well.

    Giant

good tribute- if he came with a higher price tag like moss, he'd have been given more looks. maybe he'll catch on somewhere else.
  13. Well Osi Umenyiora conveniently tore the lateral meniscus in his left knee on Saturday and is going to miss the entire season. First Strahan retires and now this. I freaking knew the Giants would be too big of pussies to give us a rematch. They'd rather play dead than give us the chance to expose them as the flukes they are. Oh well. I guess we'll just have to settle for mutilating some other NFC team this year in the Superbowl. Hopefully the Cowboys. It kind of sucks though because I wanted the Giants, but whatever. A superbowl victory is still a suprbowl victory.
  14. I was speaking to your implied discounting of sinker ball pitchers.
  15. strikeouts, while chicks may dig them, are overrated. i would not discount sinker ball pitchers. they throw less pitches and are able to get out of trouble. also, they tend to be around at the end of games and at the end of seasons. i would love to see lincecum ilower his pitch count and throw less strikeouts.
  16. i think the philosophy has been 'we'll train the DLinemen, let some other team train the LB's and we'll pick them up as free agents. sometimes successful, (like last year)- sometimes not so successful. we haven't had a home grown LB starter for a while (besides Kiwi, who gets an asterik).
  17. This should end the Kiwanuka at LB experiment. I don't think you can keep yo-yo-ing the kid back and forth and expect him to play at his best.
  18. let them bury us like they did last year, x. all of this is music to my ears. i had a few friends call me today (non-giants fans) to tell me we're done. i just say 'yup, it looks pretty bad for us.' its never a good time for an injury like this to happen, but before the season starts is much better than the last half for this to happen. spags will come up with solutions, i'm confident of that. but, by all means, let the press play taps for us.
  19. i just think he has to do something special to make the team. smith showed it last season, hixon this pre, moss is relying on his draft status and ancestory. i think he will be disappointed.
  20. i never knew canadians were so passive aggressive.
