Bradshaw would embrace a hybrid position a la Reggie Bush in a NY minute. This is a good problem to have. I agree with Nesta regarding Jacobs being the key element. Bush is having a much better year because of a healthy dose of Deuce.

i sat at a bar alongside a saints fan sunday who was sweating out their win against SD, sure they would blow it. i said i knew the feeling and he said how could you? the giants are an elite team who's been to 4 super bowls and won 3. how could you know what its like? funny, i never think of the giants as an elite team. i always think disaster is just around the corner.

yeah. it was classic. apparently, mike is a very good friend of nolan and behind that rant there was anger. he was angry that a good man lost his job and these shmucks don't care. it may not be right to throw a guy under the bus but VD deserved it and it was genuine, i think. it's what you're gonna get from singletary. best part was after he banished him to the locker he made him come back and get his helmet.

we've been getting hurt by the slant patterns for the past 3 games. looks like he figured out how to stop it midway thru the 3rd quarter yesterday. soon as he did, steelers passing attack stalled.

the giants went through this last year as well. scoring in the red one requires 2 things: deception and execution. by deception. i mean you either have to do the opposite of what the D thinks you're going to do or run a play with deception (play action, bootleg, etc. ). The other thing is that as I've said before, Ward or Bradshaw (though his ball handling is questionable) are better goal line and short yardage options than the big guy. actually, a 2 back set would work well for deception.
