  1. looking for love in all the wrong places.
  2. i did that once on a dare and couldn't sit down for a week.
  3. agreed but the team as a whole has many holes to be exploited, including their lack of a decent running game and a very porous defense. the only team that beats the giants is the giants.
  4. The Giants are also giving Spagnuolo a new three-year contract in excess of $2 million per year, which would make him the league's highest-paid defensive coordinator.
  5. Besides the Giants, he had a pretty good career. Starting QB Super Bowls for 2 different teams- has that been done since?- As A Giant, he was saddled with the Nomad years for the most part- we had no home. No, he did not linger long on the Giants years.
  6. i get a little uneasy when people mention GERMANY and BLITZ in the same thread.
  7. Morton owned a pub down in North Beach for a short time in the early part of this decade. Went down there one night and we bought each other a few scotches and reminisced. He's a helluva nice guy. Alas, the pub didn't last long.
  8. Inevitable- Congrats Albert!
  9. herm just swept the floor after the entire giants organization shit the bed.
  10. well. your point about taking the 80's for granted- no giants fan who lived thru the 70's did.
  11. the eagles are done. it was a good run for reid, mcnabb and westbrook. they did a lot with very little. but, it looks to be over.
  12. man, he looked mean (perkins, not your dad). mine were of my dad singing 'goodbye allie' (sherman) in section 15 of old yankee stadium.
  13. i did too- but that was before it was a bad thing.
  14. aww, upset because dungy isn't listed?
  15. obviously, you're trying to be argumentative. no one could be this stupid.
  16. this guy is just comical- next he'll be telling us that Joseph Addai is top 5 in the league and Edge was best ever.
  17. i don't think he fundamentally is better than those 2 you mentioned but teammates like him- he pitches fast and he's a warrior. frankly, i'd like to see him stay in the NL- he says SF is his first choice but we already have a high paid ace in zito. "he's a good teammate and his durability is beyond question. He might appear to be a little heavy to mere mortals, but maybe he is simply a mountain of a man. He has made 30 or more starts in seven of his eight Major League seasons, and the one time he didn't, in 2006, he made 28. He strained a muscle on a bitterly cold, damp Opening Night in Chicago at the beginning of that season"
  18. hello?! you play to win the polls!
  19. if he had a gun in the car, jones would trade andre ware for him.
