with due deference to your keen eye for talent, the only time you watched him was with a very lazy offensive line and a lame duck coaching staff. warner didn't look too good either at that time- QB's don't like to get hit, none of them do. except maybe big ben.

you can make a strong case for calvin johnson as well. had garbage QB's all year, no one else to take double coverage from him, and still caught 100 yds and a td or 2 each game. i would definitely send draft picks and perform a rescue operation on him.

well you could trade your #1 for Boldin or another established receiver. look i don't watch that many college games but everytime i do i am amazed at the differences. the amount of space the receivers get is nothing like the pro game. it's very rare you're goint to get a WR who's ready to contribute in their first year. and we need someone to contribute from day one.

what do you think? first of all, he was talking about when osi and strahan were both there, QB's ran into Kwi just trying to get away from those 2. so it's a meaningless stat, but yes, i think 17th is fairly average. when given the starting job outright, he did very little to make me think otherwise.
