  1. Miamiherald - Three years ago, the idea of Michael Vick and Tom Brady on the same roster would have been unfathomable. Today, it could become a reality. Vick is currently working out for the Patriots staff at Gillette Stadium, a very reliable NFL source just told me. UPDATE: Sorry This Story is a Hoax
  2. i had commandeered a golf cart in a vain attempt to find the Green section or wherever the hell you were.
  3. between him and licorice moss, i'd cut licorice. for some reason, they won't.
  4. Rotator cuff tear- may have thrown his last nasty slider.
  5. not to mention hitting in polo grounds and candlestick as opposed to fulton county launch pad.
  6. yeah but both teams are good organizations with positive influences. and pitt's head coach knows vick well and there's the whole slash history. it's all just talking heads making conjectures at this point.
  7. Garcia's the backup- I heard maybe Pittsburgh or Baltimore

  11. if he felt this way, he never should have congratulated barry around when he broke his record. instead he waits 3 years to open his mouth.... what a 2 faced little bitch.
  12. What makes it impossible to hit 70 home runs? Why is it possible to hit 60 and not 70? Hank never hit more than 50 I think. Because you've played a long time, that makes you an expert? Swimmers and track stars set records thought impossible at the time, now 10 year old girls beat them. How do we know that people who are already in the Hall didn't use? And we already know they were hitting against juiced up pitchers so doesn't that even the playing field? Lastly, should we look more closely at your '73 Braves, Hank?
  13. glad you guys woke up early to continue the argument
  14. it's a good name for an offensive line. (Center,Lineman, Offensive TackleS) )
  15. Report: A's trade Holliday to Cardinals Oakland Tribune staff and wire reports Posted: 07/24/2009 10:35:41 AM PDT Updated: 07/24/2009 10:43:31 AM PDT The A's have reportedly traded outfielder Matt Holliday to the St. Louis Cardinals in a four-player deal that sends highly touted prospect Brett Wallace to Oakland, ESPN reported Friday morning. Oakland will also receive two other minor leaguers in outfielder Shane Peterson and right-handed pitcher Clayton Mortensen, sources confirmed to ESPN. In addition, the A's will reportedly send $1.5 million to St. Louis to complete the trade. Holliday, who will be eligible for free agency after the season, has been enjoying a resurgence with the A's lately and is hitting .287 with 11 home runs and 54 RBI overall. Wallace, a first-round draft choice last year from Arizona State, has been the A's main target for months in a Holliday deal. The third baseman is hitting .293 with six home runs and 19 RBI in 62 games for Triple-A Springfield. Overall, the left-handed hitting Wallce is batting .289 with 11 home runs and 35 RBI this season. In a much-debated move, the Sonoma-born Wallace was bypassed by Oakland in favor of infielder Jemile Weeks in the first round of last year's draft. Wallace, who grew up as an A's fan, also expressed some disappointment at not being selected by Oakland.
