  1. WIth that defense I saw last night, doesn't much matter where he sits.
  2. it's a telling sign that neither got in before half time. they have a lot of work to do before they can contribute this season.
  3. sadly, he didn't have much left last time i saw him.
  4. Good point- what do you think it would take to get Brandon Marshall?
  5. Akk- we've been through this ad nasium. While some of the things Tiki said may have been valid, he could have gotten the same results by saying them behind closed doors directly to the man it applies. Airing it out in the press is either self promotional or passive aggressive. In Tiki's case, it was both. I would put him in the giants all time greats though. if you kept players out for being assholes, you'd have an empty trophy case
  6. I would still trade for Braylon Edwards based on what I have seen tonite. Cleveland should just be stockpiling draft picks anyway.
  7. yes, can we close the book on two things now? a) Moss will never be a factor b) Bradshaw is still awesome
  8. hmm-- Steve Young won a couple, I think. may even be a bust of him in canton, ohio.
  9. you may be right but he's not the only one.
  10. maybe but that's not what your premise was. big difference between jeff george and dan marino.
  11. Rumor is he's reconsidering: he vibe at Vikings camp: Favre could come back - NFL News - FOX Sports on MSN http://bit.ly/3xIOzZ i know, it's enough to make you barf.

  13. i hated him as a giant and was pissed that he was traded for bobby bonds.
  14. I believe what most people said that you could not fathom was that they loved him on the field- off the field he was divisive and not a good teammate. I still feel that way and may I add now he sucks as a commentator and fluff reporter.
  15. jack will be the nerdy guy with glasses standing behind him.
  16. haha well it certainly wasn't a cap adjustment- accounts i'm hearing today lead me to believe it was a FU to the fans. oh well, should make these next 2 games interesting, what with santana going 1 for 2 on plunks. sanchez is pitching today and he's not the best at hitting his target....
  17. you implied he was an under achiever- that's so what.
  18. cunningham did a lot of damage to the giants d in the games i watched.
  19. he was waving to the big contingent of giants fans who got tickets from fed up mets season ticket holders. same folks molina acknowledged after he hit the homer. it's pretty common to tip your hat and acknowledge your fans after pitching a gem for 7 1/3. i'm sure the entire giants team is concerned for dave wright-especially after what happened to joe martinez this season. sandoval had his man pants on today, didn't he?
  20. i think there was a big contingent of giant fans behind the dugout - fox mentioned that. If it makes you feel better to connect the 2, go ahead. You know Cain isn't like that.
  21. well it might work once but not twice. Strahan would've sniffed it out in the huddle. i was watching ESPN or should I say the Vick Channel this morning and the teaser was "Giants already practicing to stop Vick" Apparently they filmed the Giants practicing against the wildcat and turned that into a Vick related headline. That's when I changed the channel.
  22. did not mind Carney's kickoffs. He kicked to a spot on the left hash mark on about the 15 or so and the ST converged on the ball handler around the 30- that's fine with me. he was the feagles of kickoffs. i would say from observation(i have no evidence so go ahead and prove me wrong) that most long returns start with a long kickoff. now i wouldn't mind a few touchbacks but at what cost? with our defense, any drive starting from the 35 in is manageable. btw, tree- those stats you are quoting would have to discount west coast kickers and dome kickers because it's too much of an advantage.
  23. travesty he's not in the HOF, Stabler too.
