  1. looks like someone took marion barber in his fantasy league...
  2. no it's not at all about his contract. look, if you're interested, look it up- not hard to find. google: brandon +marshall+ injury
  3. He had some family troubles (he was acquitted) which are a concern. But as far as the deal with him and the Broncos are concerned, I urge you to read his side of the story- he has, what I think is a valid gripe. And, what I'm looking for from him is 2 years of productivity. And yes, I don't think we have a threat for this year among the stable of receivers. I think defenses will not be afraid and they will choke our running game and spit on our passing game.
  4. work harder, damit! seriously, i don't think he's injury prone- just got botched up because he came back too soon from the hip. if he's damaged, you don't make the trade.
  5. I'd do it- contingent on him passing a physical. those denver doctors are a joke. i'd throw in moss to sweeten the pot.
  6. compared to moss, hilliard is jerry rice.
  7. giants don't play the bears- i checked after the poor showing, thinking they were vanilla for that reason.
  8. my mistake- i still believe storm is correct that more injuries would happen if you don't go all out. it's not natural to half ass out there unless its the pro bowl where everyone's doing it.
  9. Didn't Osi get hurt when his own player rolled up on him? I guess he would've stopped rolling if he was treating it as a pre season game.
  10. nomar, before he had the injury bug, would've been a close competitor and was the great red hope. reyes and tejeda- no, not seriously. i think there are many players- ESPECIALLY WEST COAST PLAYERS take adrian gonzalez for instance- who, if in a major market like derek is would be much more highly regarded. so i think the opposite of your statement is more true.
  11. i've been concerned about the dabt myself i don't think kiwanuka is dogging it. i just think that's all he's got.
  12. never mind the raider thing- said that before the coaching meetings turned into the WWE.
  13. we all agree on the first point and i agree on both. That's just ridiculous.
  14. That's because baseball is a great game- game i watched last nite between giants and rockies- 15 innings so much drama- elation and tragedy, mistakes and brilliance- like a shakespeare play. baseball is the greatest game ever invented.
  15. I think it's about protection, yes. But also about Manning learning to trust new receivers and playing to their strengths. For instance, if Nicks is good on the slant, Eli has to throw accurate slants. Last year, when Buress left, Eli wasn't able to improvise. The reason I lobby for a star receiver is more about Manning than the talent of said receiver.
  16. could say the same thing about those praising -, nay worshipping him being yankee fans. and yes, you conveniently left out Arod. (a yankee, i might add)
  17. my yankee hate goes deep, hugh- never denied that. i like jeter, he's a clutch player- but you have to admit if he was in KC his whole career, he wouldn't be as good.
  18. i knewgood offensively and omar vizquel didn't match. ozzie got much better offensively later in his career. i'm sure if he had a cushy batting order like jeter has been blessed with his entire career, he'd be even better.
  19. i think you mean the former 2
  20. That TV is very cool- I always felt football was better on TV- now you can go to the game and watch it on TV!
  21. I don't care if its him or boldin or whomever. well behaved and untalented won't get it done either.
