For instance, if Nicks is good on the slant, Eli has to throw accurate slants. Last year, when Buress left, Eli wasn't able to improvise. i knewgood offensively and omar vizquel didn't match. ozzie got much better offensively later in his career. i'm sure if he had a cushy batting order like jeter has been blessed with his entire career, he'd be even better.
