  1. FOr Defensive Coordinator I would like Agotto (Any guy other than this one)
  2. i thought eli had time on a lot of plays, just no one open downfield. as i said before, our WR's can't create separation against good corners. i don't think it was the fault of the OLine.
  3. in other words, spags knew his teams strengths and weaknesses so he played to its strength. that's called coaching. look, you're never going to address all the teams needs during the off season. a good coach looks at the talent and makes game plans designed to accent the strengths and protect the weaknesses. if spags came in to a team with a secondary like denver or LB's like pittsburgh, you'd see a different plan.
  4. strahan made him great and got him a big contract- just like he did for bratzke and griffin. thise guys should pay his alimony.
  5. i'm thankful that i had to record it and was able to skim through that band aid pull in less than an hour.
  6. i agree with most of this- except about the LB's. LB and safety is our weakness. as far as receivers go i still think we're missing that scary guy, maybe it's manningham- and also a pass catching, 3rd down back. i thought bradshaw would morph into that but so far i haven't seen it.
  7. i heard diehl on the radio saying that almost every team they've played this year has been daring the giants to pass. shooting corners from the edge, run blitzes, etc. you have to take what the D is giving you and this year it's been the pass.
  8. know sho moreno- i have him in my other league.
  9. yea and calvin johnson is iffy. just when he got going.
  10. Brady doesn't know that, Peyton doesn't know that. Big Ben doesn't know that this year. Brees doesn't know that. A balanced attack no turnovers and field position wins the game- oh and defense. are you sure it was he who said that? i know someone did but i didn't see it attributed to Gil.
  11. i thought that was rather clever but not in the least bit homosexual. it means you sniff egg's ass as in you worship him. if you have a gay relationship with him or would like to, that's your business. i don't comment on that stuff.
  12. i thought the dog's "set view' was bad egg's rectum.
  13. as long as jones is there, he won't let any coach succeed.
  14. that's brilliant! let's keep gilbride and get rid of eli.
  15. all of that plus the Giants smurfy WR's don't so well against good corners and Denver has bookends. The Defense has to come up big for the Giants to win this one.
  16. you're right, cowher doesn't have 18 mill in the bank. you can point to anyone who speaks english as a candidate for redskins or raiders. no way he goes back to NE.
  17. BK is correct- local games are carried on regular TV.
  18. where did you hear that? i think he will probably take a year or 2 off - ND owes him somewhere between $4 million and $18 million depending on who you talk to.
  19. you've been known to quote some pretty questionable sources yourself. i don't understand why everyone has a hard on for jack. this is a giants fan we're talking about, for crissakes!
  20. Probably be fired right after the Stanford game. If he's willing to come to NY as a Offensive Coordinator, do we want him? I remember him on the Giants sideline, at that time I thought he was Parcells' slightly challenged little brother. But he's got a great resume for offense. This is your chance, anti-gilbites! Make yourself heard, there is now a viable answer to if not him, who?
  21. This Defense only works if it gets to the QB. Giants blitzing seems predictable and blockable lately.
  22. How do you guys think Aaron Ross played? Didn't really hear his name all game but that could be a good thing. Was he on Roddy White most of the game?
