  1. respectfully, i remember differently . his giants D was a read/react as opposed to Fox's and spag's more aggressive attack thru the gaps type. i recall we got a lot of INT's with him the first year and then the other teams schemed better against us and we got pushed around. and he was a total jerk as a HC. angry and divisive with the media, FO and players. but i'll give you that he's better than sheridan
  2. you're smoking dope, jack. nolan stunk up the joint in SF as a HC. Denver D is playing on their heels just like Giants did with him at the lead. The past is not always better, my friend.
  3. denver and he wasn't so great for the giants. he was all about the secondary.
  4. Really? Read it again, he's joking about Fox. Again, even on the off chance that Fox gets canned, he will get another head coaching job or he will wait for one. You guys are assuming that people are willing to take a demotion to get a this dream DC job with the Giants_WHY? --- Jauron, maybe... he's better suited as a DC even though he's improved every team he's HC'd But not Fox, he's a head coach to stay.
  5. I don't see any justification for John Fox taking a demotion to Defensive Coordinator even on the slim chance that he leaves Carolina.
  6. Take a look at the Miami Dolphins if you want to see a team that has no business being in contention. The GM and the coach looked at the talent around them and instead of making excuses, made the best of it.
  7. reminds me of the joke about the horse that walks into the bar bartender says "why the long face?"
  8. LOL come on man- eli had given no reason to believe he could perform in the frozen tundra. that game was the biggest surprise of the year. you could not have felt confident
  9. you're right, MInny or NO at home look invincible but i'd still like to see the giants in the playoffs.
  10. sinorice moss saved by storm for another year....
  11. you're preaching to the converted. i believe they got in on 4th down anyway.
  12. no it was the other guy, 77. beatty was supposed to do it but he was covering kareem's spot. atl east beatty is athletic.
  13. was very close to ignoring the drops and giving Nicks a game ball for his positive attitude and bouncing back to make a huge play on his 68-yard TD. But I just looked down at my sheet here and saw four drops for 111 yards plus the play where he went all Sinorice Moss on us by running backward. Can’t do it, Hakeem. Sorry, pal. But good job of bouncing back strong on the TD. yea what was that about?
  14. it's the route he runs that necessitates where the throw goes. if toomer was willing and able, he'd be a good one for the job.
  15. Whoever gets in from the east and west is mere fodder for New Orleans or Minnesota.
  16. i never want to see an andy reid mid air bump again.
  17. i agree, he's a stud- and that play was unique in the fact that the refs got it right, that touch did not cause him to go down- but it did give him just enough forward inertia to make it harder for him to get his feet out to slide.
  18. going by what i saw tonight, those 2 plays that hurt us were slow developing.
