  1. yea, this guy would've never made it in the 70's. i thought this was about the PSL's?
  2. rams knew this was a lost year for them. that's one of the reasons it was a good fit for spags, he wasn't expected to win now. i think they clinched number one draft pick so they take the boy named suh, making the book ends along with chris long and all of a sudden he has a D to be reckoned with. don't worry about spags job in St. loo
  3. he's had to change from throwing it "in the vicinity" of guys like plax and toomer to more timing patterns and pinpointed slant patterns where there is little margin for error. for him to do this much with those receivers is remarkable and this is by far his best year.
  4. i think going into the season, jacobs will have to fight for his first team status, maybe his job.
  5. some team will look at him as the missing key to their playoff run. historically, anyone who says shit like this on the giants is gone. fine with me. another strahan millionaire
  6. well they decided to honor the dank by going out the way they came in- losing...
  7. no doubt the D was under manned but they had exactly the same scheme as last week- without regard for the opponent who couldn't have been more different. i wouldn't be surprised if he did one of those "i thought we were playing dallas" things like fassel's DC did.
  8. yes i think each time we lost, it was against coaches who outsmarted our defense. today, was the coup d'état.
  9. i don't know if that stadium holds too much sentimental value. it's kind of void of personality. functional and good sight lines but its nothing special. if hoffa is found when they dig it up, it might change my thinking. considering they are moving across the swamp, i can't get too choked up about the place. however, if that is what motivates, do it for the stadium!!
  10. yeah, it was too easy. my dad used to say to me about the giants "they can't stand prosperity."
  11. snyder gives no respect, he deserves none in return. this whole season was about getting zorn to quit, a tactic used by his mentor, Al last year. zorn's a good man, you can't judge the guy on this season or that play.
  12. that's right- plus it was bad timing, smelled of desperation. score 3, you get the ball back to start the 2nd half with the possiblilty of 24-10 but, why should zorn give a shit? he's been taking crap from napolean snyder all year. i'm surprised he didn't throw in a few statue of liberties and an alley oop!
  13. They obviously traded Melky to make room for Damon to return. His contract demands have gone down considerably (now that he realizes there's no market for him) and he wants to be a yankee. watch for that signing shortly.
  14. had to get back to 200 million somehow...
  15. we know that you're now a giants hater so your opinion is tainted.
  16. i don't know, jack. dallas may be peaking now as well. minny may be sliding but New Orleans and Az are still formidable. Haven't seen Green Bay enough to make a real determination but they seem like the weak link. be nice if seattle can rose up this week.
  17. in that alignment, yes. that was the trick and it probably would've worked the first time.
