  1. Nem, WE.... DON'T... HAVE... THE... LINEBACKERS... TO... PLAY... 4-3.... DEFENSE.... EITHER...!!!
  2. Chargers are not under the radar. They're everybody's pick as they're coming into the playoffs as the hottest.
  3. I liked him as a DC in SF and I thought he did a good job in ATL but he does get the swift boot often enough. And, it looks like the Seahawks gave up on him this year (so he should fit right in!)
  4. dullness eases the pain. that's what momma said.
  5. you should be more confident in my ability to pick lox. my smoked fish handicapping has never disappointed.
  6. The only one I'm not confident in is New England. Green Bay is the lock of the week. But yea, I'll go with outright wins.
  7. he'd have to teach you to spell it first.
  8. Cincinnati minus 3 over the Jets Philly +4 over the Cowboys New England -3.5 over the Ravens Green Bay +1 over the Cardinals
  9. lol, don't you know people only bump threads where their predictions are correct? that's why i hardly ever bump threads
  10. good point, wolf. for me, let's get the best available guy. he'd have to be willing to assess the talent and do what's best for the team. not just put his signature on the D. Whisenhunt is a staunch supporter of the 3-4, having come from pittsburgh. but he's changing over gradually in AZ as talent permits. 49ers, are running a mixture of 4-3, 3-4 on different sets. right now, it's not the system that sucks but the players execution. either way, there will probably be 6 or 7 new faces on D next year.
  11. wow, that's real nice
  12. only under his watch, not on their own. and you spelled anointing wrong- almost like annoying.
  13. that would be great! the 2nd coming of don chandler. i don't know why more kickers can't do this.
  14. i'd love to see one bellicheck disciple succeed before we anoint these guys.

  16. there are other teams with fast aggressive linebackers. Steelers, Chargers, Packers, Ravens. (right, 3 playoff teams and the reigning SB champs) IF the Giants need some rare cowboy playoff win to sway them, they're not that smart. they've been neglecting the importance of linebackers since Jessie Armstead.
  17. That thread title made me hungry.
  18. I love it - think of the defensive scheme names: Pepper Spray Pepper Shaker Ground Pepper
  19. he's still considered a candidate, probably keeping him active for the rooney rule.
  20. depends who you talk to. some say the kid was lazy. his dad is craig james from espn, who acted like a "little league dad" they say the kid blew it out of proportion. leach says it was a ploy to get out of paying him-he signed a contract worth 12.5 mill- and he's suing the school but most agree he's an offensive brain. definitely quirky though.
