Yes I agree and I'm very happy that Eli is the QB of the Giants. But I don't see how Rivers losing in the playoffs validates Eli. To me, he's already been validated. As far as the draft day trade, I think it was one that worked out well for all parties involved. Eli, Ben, Rivers, Warner, Brees all prospered from that move.

Except for last year's early exit, which was caused mostly by the idiot shooting himself, i would say the giants went as far in the playoffs as their talent and health dictated.
