  1. i don't know about josh, but mike was pretty much a prick on the 49ers.
  2. i'm thinking he makes a run for Raiders Head Coach. He's a Bay Area guy.
  3. Yes I agree and I'm very happy that Eli is the QB of the Giants. But I don't see how Rivers losing in the playoffs validates Eli. To me, he's already been validated. As far as the draft day trade, I think it was one that worked out well for all parties involved. Eli, Ben, Rivers, Warner, Brees all prospered from that move.
  4. wow, i'd forgotten that larry fizgerald was the #3 pick that year. that worked out pretty well. gspotter, i do believe that a lot of folks had big ben rated as #1 or #2.
  5. they could've had big ben and kaeding and merriman as well.
  6. i guess he just hates the media- seems every interview is strained but he's animated with his teammates. maybe he's pissed that they covered all 6 of his retirement and returning announcements.
  7. i think the guy is on some serious meds.
  8. i really can't pin that one on romo. the rush was relentless and he lost his left tackle. that offense was doomed.
  9. 56, 70 or 75 would have chopped him in the first half and then cheerfully taken the flag out of the ref's pocket and thrown the 15 on themselves.
  10. and why would you want bad egg....
  11. someone finally did what the giants should have done long time ago.
  12. JGF I can agree, but LUG????? oh and pdoub posts more info than anyone.
  13. Btw, VG- what did you think about McGwire's cry fest. 2 funniest things for me: McGwire- No, Steroids didn't help me hit home runs LaRussa- I had no idea my 1989 locker room was a juice shack
  14. i agree, if the pitching holds up, Rangers will be in it. although seattle got stronger, the angels got weaker.
  15. Except for last year's early exit, which was caused mostly by the idiot shooting himself, i would say the giants went as far in the playoffs as their talent and health dictated.
  16. i don't know if i believe this. the bus made a lot of stops on radio today and i think he told each city the same story.
  17. to me, it's a no brainer. look around the league and see how many ex- giants coordinators are head coaches. now let's hear from the ex bears coordinators. who are now head coaches.
  18. The bastards will just claim eminent domain and snatch it from you.
  19. he's got skills- he just had the "i got a fat signing bonus" work ethic.
  20. it's kind of like the blues brothers there "we're getting the band back together"
