  1. I think they might hold on to him but they freely admitted to being in full rebuilding mode. So if they float him out there to see what they could get, I would like the Giants to make a go at him. If they could work it out with Eli. One possibility being Eli going to Raiders for a couple of years.
  2. Why? I am not a member of the Carr household. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how uninformed or off base it may be.
  3. Paloffs? Youre talking about paloffs?
  4. I don't know- Eli might like the opportunity of bringing the Raiders to Vegas and it could open up some post career business opportunities for him. We already know he likes to play loose on fake sports memoribilia... Seriously, I can see him getting a real front office job with the Raiders- not the ceremonial kick upstairs with the Giants .
  5. Eli in Oakland or err SanDiego or London wherever the Raiders end up next year. Given Grudens propensity for older QBs , we may have something
  6. not a bad idea. who are you and what did you do with Seph?
  7. neither has our record much
  8. The only possible upgrade I see is Derek Carr if the Raiders are dumb enough to trade him. Otherwise, we ride wih Eli and see what shakes out in 2020.
  9. I don't think they want any QB in the first round. Especially from the Ohio State program. Who's the best QB out of that system? Mike Tomczak?
  10. one day Ill tell you about this family bar mitzvah , then youll know...
  11. He needs to give some money back for OL talent. Not getting much help out there.
  12. What you said up there was part of my concern. They were pretty advanced in their schemes and some calls- (deception, analytics) were without regard for the talent at hand. Perhaps thats where they want to be and were trying to get the talent to rise up. But that kind of goes against the "win now " philosophy they were preaching. I guess we will see.
  13. Yes he deceived the Giants into hiring him.?
  14. With those guys we were 31st. Im not talking players, not even blaming scheme ( although I have never seen so many gaping holes) Im just saying that there is no marked difference between this years and last years defense. They have not improved. So this DC needs to bring it next year before I will learn his name. As for his time with the Cardinals, its becoming clear that Bruce Arians was the glue there.
  15. Finally someone gets it....i thought when I asked about the supplemental draft it would click.
  16. they are 12th in red zone points allowed. Last year they were 19th BUT last year they gave up TD's in 54% of their chances. This year? 55% Also they were 31st in D last year and gave up 24 pts per game. This year? they are 22nd (still awful) and gve up 25 pts per game. So they haven't gotten better, a few teams have gotten worse.
  17. I don’t see many area of improvement over Spags. Maybe LBs but it’s a different alignment. One area that got worse, which should bother real giants fans a great deal is red zone defense. We were Swiss cheese back there. toughness and heart to make a tough stop was absent. that's worrisome bc we have always been able to muster a goal line stand.
  18. With that defense? Please....I know theyll give that DC another year but I think its a mistake.
  19. I agree- and players don’t tank, If management wants to tank they don’t play the player combination that has the best chance of winning. Players most often give their best.
