the majority of athletes don't stretch enough. ichiro is the only athlete i've seen that stretches all the time. as a result, he's rarely been injured and is always in position to spontaneously accelerate, stop, pivot, etc. but that's not because the mariners coaching staff is great. it's something he believes in.

The Defense is a surprise. But they are mostly healthy this year while the Offense is decimated with injury. The turnovers are very concerning indeed. Special teams even more so because no one seems concerned that every punt is a circus and every KO return a disaster and this is the most fixable.
