  1. Did the Marlins forget they have Hanley Ramirez?
  2. I'll take Andy Reid if he leaves Philly.
  3. I'd love to see Fisher. Don't think he's a NY guy though.
  4. Frankly, I'm not watching it. It's not televised here, and it's 70 degrees. I might hit the sports bar in the 4th Q if it's a game.
  5. Yousay this weekend. Are they playing a Basketball game today?
  6. There's just no identity- no consistency. We're a pass blocking team that tries to establish the run. we're a team who excels at rushing the QB but plays a lot of 2 deep zone. We're all over the map. That, gentlemen, is on the Head Coach, and the GM by extension. I would love if we abandon the rush (basically) for the season and let Eli fling the ball all over the field. I would also love if we just play man and damn the torpedos. I would love one game where we just bring it to the other team, instead of read and react or stand and watch or whatever the fuck we do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wiQ18jDWqo
  7. the idiots will fight against logic, fish.
  8. i just think people who played the game need to add some kind of disclaimer like- god knows i lived thru some terrible seasons..... it's so frustrating that LB-ing- a Giants stronghold could have gone this bad for this long. there's no identity to this team.
  9. Gee Harry, you want to run some tape of your teams before you got some decent LB help?
  10. But Jim Mora was more realistic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=Tie0tz7jGDI
  11. Jim Fassel just sent me this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ab2pnlWkd4
  12. Last night, it wasn't about x's and o's. It was about Jimmys and Joes. Their Jimmy's are better than our Joes, Joe.
  13. Exactly right. It's been our achilles heel since 2005. Enough already. Frankly. you look at this team at the beginning of the year and 6-5 is exactly where it should be. Our expectations got higher from a good showing early.
  14. Speed kills us- it always has. We beat New England bc they have slow receivers. We stayed with SF bc they're pretty slow too. We can't play speed.
  15. this is one of your truer statements, dog.
  16. even so, stop eating crap. we need you around here.
  17. Don't you have a heart condition, Jack? Stick to fiber.
  18. He'll show up. It's the 2 other dogs that we're worried about.
  19. not sure your point is valid. are you talking about the packers being over rated or rodgers? besides, the broncos go 14-2 and won the superbowl in '98.. and elway is the greatest. sorry, 25. didn't see your response.
  20. I picked it up at the library today: Super Bowl Monday is a thorough retelling of Super Bowl XXV, the epic January 1991 showdown between the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills. Great characters and a gripping finish to the closest episode in Super Bowl history made for a wonderful conclusion to the game's Silver Anniversary. But what establishes that day as a special moment in American sports history was the cloud of war hanging over the game and the nation. Ten days before the Giants defeated the Bills 20-19 in Tampa Stadium, the United States had authorized Operation Desert Storm and begun the Persian Gulf War. The book is entitled Super Bowl Monday because the hundreds of thousands of American soldiers who were able to watch the Giants vs. the Bills did so on Arabic Standard Time, several hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. For those men and women on duty in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq, Super Bowl XXV took place early Monday morning. Super Bowl Monday features original research from newspaper and video archives in addition to lengthy interviews with many of the game's stars.
  21. He's as good as Elway- who was the best I've ever seen.
