Yeah I think 2012 draft was a relative bust for them, even with all those picks. I tend to think Harbaugh is much better on the field than in the GM's room. And even on the field he's still learning clock management, for instance. I think he just wants more money than Jeff Fisher. But he negotiated for 5 years.

i haven't seen him do it much lately, but the gesture he would make to get the fans to cheer, along with the disgusted "come on, you morons" look on his face is the one that really got to me. As for Harbaugh, he's a turnaround specialist, I think. Those guys run pretty hot so I think 5 year contract with him fulfilling 3 is just about right.

The book on peyton is he can't stand pressure. how did he not know it would be coming? he has a lot to do with the game plan and it seemed to me that his ego got in the way of a smart plan. probably would've lost anyway, but the best player on the field has to show up. IF he didn't shrink from the moment, he did a good disappearing act. A 24 Passer rating is a complete breakdown. And this is from someone who thinks he's best ever.
