  1. It says he's never done punt returns and shoukdn't they change the title of kickoff returner to "end zone kneeler"
  2. it would seem. Considering the sign/no sign with the Rams guy.
  3. Yeah I don't know if it's Gilbride or Eli or Tom but someone loves fly patters too much.
  4. Good for him. Got a great young, accurate QB who will appreciate his talents.
  5. That's true. Look, it was a good time for him to go. I am glad he got a great contract. And he and the Pittsburgh guy will be good role model in Oaktown while they rebuild. If I were them, I'd trade their pick for more picks in this or future drafts. Tuck will not be around when this team makes the playoffs but maybe his influence will be felt.
  6. only $100,000 guaranteed. jennings had a fairly severe concussion last year. maybe they didn't want to chance it.
  7. $2.25 million of McFadden’s compensation is in “unlikely to be earned incentives.”
  8. But he can't play any Friday night or Saturday games.
  9. on the plus side, there's still some tread on his tires...
  10. what's the guaranteed money?
  11. that would be crazy unless it comes with a huge sign on bonus, (which would be crazy on the giants part.)
  12. yup. i think for a couple of seasons there, they had excellent red zone efficiency. Then it sucked and Jim took over the play calling and yada yada yada.
  13. Gilbride should look up some fellas named Fassel and Payton. They figured it out.
  14. you are correct, sir. his supporting cast was pretty weak, but that's in part a result of his contract.
  15. Yeah, I often think its about Bears and Vikings
  16. Well he's not the GM but I believe the Manning romance preceeded the switch from Alex. That was more about Alex than Colin
  17. I don't get the "inheritance" factor that everyone brings up. People point to Gruden. He wa a tuck rule away from going to the SB with Oakland, and they got there the next year. So, who gets credit for that? Joe Bugel? My point is everyone pays their dues and inherits crap and gold. What you do with it makes you who you are.
  18. 'm not discrediting what he did but it's not like he turned around a disembodied franchise that was basement dweller team, honestly he walked into a dream job for any coach in the league. you should check the 49ers record from 2003 until 2011.
