Wow, actually looking at the FA class this upcoming year, there's a ton of good tackles to pick from.

Yeah some things would have to fall into place before the draft to consider Lawrence. I think we'd need to sign the best center in Free Agency, and we'd need to have at least one of the young guys develop into a competent starter over the second half of the year. I don't think having a line of Solder - new Center - somebody out of Hernandez, Thomas, Peart, or Limeaux is a good line, but I think you can get away with it for a year.

I really think we need the best interior lineman free agent we can find. Before the end of the season, let's see what we've got in Peart and Limeaux. If one of those guys can be a decent starter, it will alleviate some of the problems with the line. Peart has looked excellent in extremely limited reps... looks bigger than advertised, and moves REALLY well. How ironic would it be if he becomes our starting LT and Thomas ends up on the right side?

I took a look at that 2017 roster and honestly? I think I'd take it over this roster. We're in year three and in WORSE shape than we were before Getty got here. Dude's gotta go.

I don't think you get better than a 5th for DJ... and that would probably be if the team had two or three 5ths to give away. He has no value right now.

Honestly, everyone has eaten him up so far. He's young and there's time to improve but right now I'm seeing Ereck Flowers out there.

Jones might be slow processing... or maybe our receivers aren't getting separation. Or maybe both. Hard to tell from the TV angles. What I can tell though is this... with our 100% healthy line, hand picked by our GM, our quarterback is more often than not running for his life back there. Dallas had a guy retire this year, and has both their starting tackles out for the season... but look at their line compared to ours. Even when their QB is getting rid of the ball in 2.5 seconds there's no defender within a sniff of him. This is just not acceptable.

Yeah man. Getty's gotta go. This is just flat-out not acceptable. To get blown out by San Fran 3rd stringers and then lose to a busted-up Dallas team is proving that he's not the guy. This roster is not significantly better than the 2017 team; I'd argue it's actually worse.

That's a great point. Seriously though, where is the win on this schedule? I see two possibly against Washington and maybe another vs. The Bangles. Maybe another team fucks up and we back into another. There's not more than a 4-12 season in these guys.

Honestly, if they're 0-16 I think they need to either blow it all up with Trevor Lawrence, or if they think they have something with Jones (so hard to evaluate with .3 seconds to throw on each play) get a king's fucking ransom for the pick. I'm thinking trade down to #3, trade down again to 8 or so, and take the best pass rusher you can and 3 o-linemen with the picks.

CD, I love ya guy, but I'm not sure what game you were watching. There were maybe two times Jones had time to throw this game (at least what I watched from 2nd quarter on). They even flashed a Stat in the 4th that was something like "of 28 dropbacks, there were 17 pressures, 6 hits and 3 sacks." It was another piss-poor performance. I'm not sure there's a single starting NFL-caliber player on this line.

Daniel Jones has not had a clean pocket yet CD. If he's not taking a sack he's running for his life. They are awful.

I haven't watched a play with a clean pocket yet. This line is as bad as the one when Gettleman took over. Honestly I'd can Getty after this game.

This O-line is SO bad. Andrew Thomas fucking sucks.
