  1. Whelp, there's always Zach Ertz.
  2. For real. It's a really good sign that: 1. You have several veterans actively recruiting their buddies to be on the team, and 2. once those guys are on the team, they're all saying that they decided to come to NY after speaking with Judge, even though he's a no-nonsense kind of guy.
  3. I've been warming up on him a lot too, especially if the "big-4" of receivers is gone. He's not a mauler but his footwork and technique are amazing. Incredibly smart too. Looks like a Judge guy.
  4. Per Adam Schefter. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1374118963815317504?s=20
  5. He played well, but was only healthy for 4 games. It's the exact same problem we have with Barkley.
  6. I know after the Barkley investment we're all pretty bitter about the idea of needed RB assets, but so far in his career Barkley has played one full season. We can't rely on him and need to have plan B ready for when/if he gets injured again this year.
  7. I think if Harris/Williams falls to round 3 you have to take them but yeah, generally I agree.
  8. We're going to get some RB help in the draft I think. Najee Harris or Javonte Williams early, Rhamondre Stevenson in the mid rounds, or Pooka Williams Jr/Larry Rountree late. Any of those guys can step in day one and contribute.
  9. Honestly we have to keep Peppers after this year. Love this fucking guy.
  10. I think Surtain sounds like a Judge player. Smart, fiesty, does everything you ask, selfless, a team player. Farley is more athletic, but there was a guy on the Giants podcast who said he actually graded out really poorly but made up for it with amazing recovery speed. I don't know if you get away with that in the pros. Parsons has character issues and is unlikely to be on the team, but one of our assistant coaches worked with him so you never know.
  11. This is how I feel too. He's got all the tools to be a #1 but he has to stay healthy. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of the Plax signing back when he was playing behind Hines Ward. Plax wasn't really a "true #1" either and certainly wasn't in Pittsburgh, but he really was a valuable player for us and what we were trying to do.
  12. If the big three WRs and Pitts are all gone (and somebody like Sewell isn't somehow still there) I think this is what you do. I wouldn't hate Slater in that spot though either.
  13. Exactly. No more excuses, dude has to produce. I get that we need another lineman or two but Jones has to show us something.
  14. Yeah me too. He was a real thumper in college that played pretty well his first few years in the league. I remember Jim saying that drafting BJ Goodson would make me forget all about Ragland, but at the end of the day I don't think either really became much of a difference-maker in the pros.
  15. There are a bunch of later-round WRs and a few RBs I like in this draft. Sage Surrat looks like a young Ed McCaffery, and I think I mentioned before how much I love Marquez Stevenson. Nico Collins is another guy around the 4th-5th to keep an eye on.
  16. Nice signing, and follows the Seph formula for fixing the Giants.
  17. OH YEAH FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I'm thinking backup punter...
  19. I have a feeling that today the Giants are going to do something.
