I think we'd still be stuck with the contract though. To lose the contract and the player, I think we'd had to have moved him before the trade deadline. I'm certainly not an expert in this shit though so who knows. I would take a second for him.

Just started watching. I've only seen like ten tackles too high from the Giants so far, and that James Bradberry has been making a lot of business decisions in the run game against the likes of legendary bruiser Marcus Mariota. I do like the score though.

This is how I feel as well. We should be going after a GM/HC team, and have been asking this for eight years. Moreover, if possible we should be trading down in this draft with both picks as much as fucking possible. I'm not sold on Jones; might as well trade into the middle of the round where you can still get good value (interior O-line, interior D-line, RB) and stockpile picks for the next seasonin case Jones isn't the guy. There are no good QBs in this draft but some team will fall in love with one and overpay with a 1st the following season.

Now that's all in the shitter and we're stuck with overpriced veterans (Logan Ryan) and underperforming young players (Saquon Barkley).

Yeah, it was pretty much a pipe dream I know. I'd have taken something like a 2nd and 5th for him though; they maybe would have bitten on that. Instead we'll get Saquon for six more games this year where he'll average 3 yards a run (10 runs for negative or no yardage and one 30-yard TD) and the sports world will call him "elite" and "generational." The we'll have him for two weeks next season before he goes on IR.
