  1. I think it's a dumb gimmick, like many things we've seen so far in the Judge era.
  2. Can we bench Judge and Gettleman? We probably have better backups on the team.
  3. Again, I didn't even watch the game and I'm probably dumb for posting that but Bradberry sure looks bad to me.
  4. Bradberry's PFF grades from the game: 36.9 Overall (64.7 Run Defense, 37.7 Tackling, 32.8 Coverage, 60.6 Special Teams) 26 Run Defense Snaps 5 Tackles + 2 Assisted Tackles 1 Missed Tackle 6 Catches Allowed + 1 Drop on 11 Targets (53 Coverage Snaps) 63 Yards Allowed (19 YAC) 1 TD Allowed 5 1st Downs Allowed (Includes TD) 6 Special Teams Snaps
  5. I watched the highlights during my lunch break. Have a good look at Bradberry. Not only does he get absolutely scorched by Evans, but he misses like 5 tackles and looks completely disinterested every time there's even a hint of a block coming his way. Fuck that guy.
  6. Fuck this team. This is the kind of shit that should have been done, at minimum, after the Dallas game. Ditch Garrett and trade the Saquons and Bradberrys (he fucking sucks) of the team and give the young guys a chance with a new OC. Maybe you win your last few games and find you have a good coordinator and a decent young corps to build around, and a lot of picks to start a legit rebuild. Hell, maybe you luck out and the switch provides a real spark and we have something to play for in November for once. What the fuck do we have now? We're not winning out, forget the postseason. Judge and Gettleman are both completely inept and have to go; best case scenario we win 3 more games and they both get extended? Does anybody actually want that at this point? I would have thought a move like this interesting enough four or five weeks ago to keep me watching the games, but honestly I couldn't give a shit at this point. This team is so, so, SO fucking stupid.
  7. Seven weeks. But you know what they say, better late... actually, it's really a push, firing him now effectively does nothing. Season was over week 3.
  8. I have to admit, I got some good belly laughs this week every time I saw someone on Reddit or in a Giants podcast talk about the "playoff push." The team is 3-6 and scores 17 points a game while allowing 40, what fucking planet are these people living on?
  9. I thought the defense would carry us to some 20-17 victories and whatnot, but even these guys stink. In the fifteen minutes I watched last night, Bradberry whiffed on two tackles. Last full game I watched I think he missed six. We need a total reboot.
  10. I'm a little surprised, but just a little. Going into this year, I thought Jones was a huge question mark. Barkley was done I thought (I never thought he was that good and was asking for legitimate RB help in the draft). Yes, our WR corps was "upgraded," but I also said it came with a huge risk as mostly all of those guys have serious injury histories. Literally everyone on the line was a question mark to me. I did think Rudolph would at least contribute in the red zone, but Engram is a fucking loser. To many "ifs" on offense to think the team would be more than .500. I didn't expect the defense to suck this bad though. On paper, they should be way better than they are.
  11. I only watched two drives last night... one three-and-out in the second quarter and the drive that started from the 5-yard line. That was all I needed to know that this team fucking blows (gave up two TDs in that span too, I think). If you make me the GM, I exercise Jones' 5th year option. I look pretty heavily at QB in the draft, but if there's no "the guy" there, I trade back as much as possible to teams that think he is there. There was a "bad' QB draft a few years back and Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes came out of that draft, and both of those guys are pretty good. If you can trade back, use those mid first-rounders on spots where you can still get quality players. Interior O-line, DT, MLB, RB. You're not going to find your future LT or QB at pick 19, but you might find an All-Pro guard. Use your stockpiled picks the following year (Jones' fifth) to trade up for your franchise QB, and you may still get something for Jones in a trade that year if he looks good with the new coaching staff. If he turns it around in year 4... hey, you have a bunch of first rounders to build with. Of course, I expect we'll do none of this.
  12. Yeah I saw this a few days ago; stopped reading when they started mentioning players still on the team. Like... no duh, players on the team count towards the cap?!?!?!
  13. Wow, Robert Saleh's brother looks nothing like him.
  14. Probably because Aaron Robinson is off IR. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason Beal hung around.
  15. This exactly. Not only doesn't he run the team well (literally his only job) but he's a terrible evaluator of talent and coaches. I've seen enough. If you're going to clean house, clean house.
  16. Sixty Billion Dollar Cornerback James Bradberry is pretty lucky that Derek Carr sucks.
  17. I'm just gonna say this... allowing taunting in professional sports is a vote for Trump.
  18. I dunno, is a .333 winning percentage good?
  19. Look... Devontae Booker had a nice game, but the guy has less than 300 yards in 9 games and averages under 4 yards per carry. This board really needs to pump the brakes.
  20. I don't really see a whole lot of difference between Booker and say, Orleans Darkwa. They're both JAGs.
  21. I don't think Barkley has very good vision, to be honest. There's been holes there in the few games he's played this season but he'll bounce outside for a 3-yard loss instead.
  22. Rodarius WIlliams? He's a great example of why this coaching staff and GM need to go. Dude was starting over Darnay Holmes and getting burned six times a game. Plus we got rid of Markus Golden. Plus we let Dalvin Tomlinson go. Plus we refuse to play Kadarius Toney. Plus we never send Golladay on deep routes. This staff can neither evaluate talent, nor do they put players in a position to succeed.
  23. I think we'd still be stuck with the contract though. To lose the contract and the player, I think we'd had to have moved him before the trade deadline. I'm certainly not an expert in this shit though so who knows. I would take a second for him.
