This is how I feel about it as well. I think you take your lumps with Jones for this year, draft your franchise guy next year and let Tyrod start till the new guy is ready. I think Jimmy G is much better than people think but like Jones, he's always hurt.

Dude I'm so with you on Trey Lance. Yes he has the measurables but he played something like division III ball and had one good season. You take second round flyers on those guys, you don't draft them in the top 3 because "it worked for Carson Wentz."
